Your dad was on the couch watching tv on his day off when you suddenly came bursting through the door. You rushed so quickly up to your room, not even closing the door or taking your shoes off. Confused on why you did this, he got up off of the couch and closed the front door. Looking in the direction of your room he sighed and picked up a few papers that you had dropped. He walked to your room door and knocked on it. "Y/n?" He asked, his voice was softer than normal. He heard you sniffle, "Go away Dad.." you mumbled, loud enough for him to hear you through the door. "You and I both know that's not gonna happen." He said as he opened the door. You threw your pillow at him but he caught it. "What's going on?" He asked, placing the papers down on your bedside table. "Get out. I don't wanna talk about it." You said as you tried not to sniffle out loud but it failed after a while. "Look I'm not leaving until you tell me what's wrong." Bakugou said as he crossed his arms and sat down on at the edge of your bed.

Sighing, you turned to face him completely, hugging your other pillow. Tear streaks kept coming down your face no matter how much you tried to stop crying. "It's just.." you sighed. "You ever like someone so much and then they ask you for relationship advice with someone else. And since you're a nice person you help them get a date with one of your friends." Your voice cracked as you spoke. Your dad opened his mouth to speak but you hugging him had cut him off. "I just feel so stupid.."

Your dad stayed silent as he turned and hugged you fully. You buried your face in his chest as you cried silently. Only making small sniffles and sobs every once and a while. He rubbed your back comfortingly, "ya know, Y/n, if that person you like doesn't like you back, they're the dumb one. You're an amazing person alright? And if they can't see that they're in the fucking wrong. You shouldn't cry over some dumbass who can't even appreciate you." Your Dad said as you sniffled and pulled back from the hug to wipe your tears. "Yeah..I guess you're right.." you mumbled. "I always am, now stop crying so that we can go get ice cream." He said as you smiled and chuckled, wiping your face completely. "Thanks Dad." He got up and ruffled your hair. "Yeah yeah, It's nothing."
