The Chase

I have so much homework tonight It's not even funny. I was walking home again since my so called friend was supposed to drive me home. but she decided to go with her boyfriend.

It wasn't too late, only about 6 but it was pretty dark.Of course I need to be cautious walking home by myself. They are only waiting 24:7 for this chance. But I wasn't scared.

I suddenly stop and whip my head around. The bushes were shaking.

Someone was here.

I was suddenly walking faster until I was running. I could now feel the presence chasing after me. Making sure no one was around, I was now at full speed, Running for more or less, my life. I decided to turn into a forest path which wasn't that smart. But hey, I was never really street smart.

I was running as fast as my legs could take me now Passing trees and rocks. This was My normal everyday being chased thing.Its not that bad actually, At least I'm getting my daily exercise, But normal exercise doesn't get you killed. Anyways To help you out,

I'm a vampire. And I'm currently being chased by what is called a Dark Hunter.

But that's not new. All the Dark Hunters Are after me and its getting annoying!

"ok ok, let's call a Truce I'm getting real tired of this" i say starting to slow down to hop into a tree. Just in case he doesn't agree

"And let this opportunity pass? I can see it now ' Zale the hunter kills the Lanexia's Daughter!' He says slowing down in front of the tree.

Lanexia was the most Powerful Vampire in.. well everywhere. And making her pretty much indestructible the only way to break her would be to kill her daughter. Which would be me. and that makes me the Third most Powerfull behind Qinton. The Dark vampire 'lord', Who is The one Sending all these hunters (Some quite attractive I might add) To kill me.

As for this one he was tall, short brownish blackish hair. pretty cute. But what's up with the name?

"What makes you think that you'll kill me? All the others Failed?" I say Glancing at him

"I'm not like the others, I usually use my charm" he said winking at me

" Ha that's funny, and how many vampires have you actually killed with this 'Charm'?" I Say sarcastically

"uh six or seven" he said so quietly I could barley hear him

"What was that?" I say instigating him

"Six Or Seven" he says a bit louder

"I can't hear you, sorry how many?"

"SIX OR SEVEN" he yells

I smirk appears on my face

"Quite a charm You've got" I say as I climb higher and higher up the tree

"It is actually" he says "they just don't realize it yet!" He says loud enough for me to hear

"I'm sure they do, I'm sure they do" I reply

"Hey, aren't you suppose to be trying to kill me?" I say putting emphasis on the 'trying'

"Oh ya..." he says

"I'll stand here all night if I have to" he says

"Then I guess you better grab you sleeping bag because its gonna be a looong night" I reply

~ An Hour Passes ~

"Hey, what's your name?" he asks Trying to make conversation. Which wasn't gonna help..

"your suppose to kill me and you don't know my name?" I say

"well I'd like to know before I do" he says

"Janelle" I say " And Dont be so sure you will"

I keep a close eye on him, planning the perfect time to escape. As he turns for a second I'm out of there. Now I'm running for my life. As he notices quickly he chases after me.

Of course it's such a me thing to trip over a tree trunk. I fall to the ground and he flips me over.

"Oww!'' I say

I'm now on my back

He jumps towards me and i push off his stomach and quickly get up

I'm not sure what his power is yet But I think I will find out sooner or later.

Now he is is just standing there.As am I. He flinches his hand and I hear a voice. A familiar voice. It's my mother. my thoughts dissapear. I haven't seen her in well forever. No one noes where she is not even me.

I'm soon irrupted as I'm pushed forcefully to the ground as he is holding me down with a weapon to my heart. Guess I know what his power is now

A smile appears on my face. I don't know why I'm smiling. He could actually kill me! Would he kill me?

"Well, no one has ever gotten this far before" i say

"It's the charm" he says winking

Ughh

"So, what are you waiting for?" I say

"I don't know" he says as he raises the weapon I flinch but he doesn't drop it.

He leans in and whispers in my ear, ''next time, You're done'' as he runs off.

I rise up slowly. Watching him as he slowly disappears from my sight. Why didn't he kill me? I think to myself.

Guess who has the charm now!
