I normally don't like long introductions but this time I feel it's necessary... I'll probably come back here later to shorten it a little...

WARNING!

To keep this short, but not forget the most important thing, I want to say this right at the beginning.
This story is ranked mature for a reason. There is quite some severe trauma both Loki and Tessa (and others) have to go through and as you know, they are not in a happy time of their lives right now.
So if any of you feel uncomfortable reading about injuries, (implied) torture, intrusive thoughts, self-hatred, mind control and just... angst in general, please don't read this.

I tried to stay vague, but in the end this is part of their lives and they deal with their problems in...not always healthy ways.
That put aside, of course there will be happy times too, I just wanted to make sure everyone knows that there's quite some heavy stuff in there.

Now to the book.

This is the second part to "The Soldier" and it took me a lot longer to finally upload this than I thought it would....I'm sorry.
Also, this probably doesn't make any sense if you didn't read the first part...
Talking about not making a lot of sense - the time line here is a little different. Thor 1 happened, what happens in "The Soldier" is what happens instead of The Avengers and now we tie directly into the last chapter of "The Soldier" here, loosely following Thor 2 at the beginning.

Beside that, this is my first time writing from the perspective of more than two people, and there are a lot more characters in here than in the first part. I tried to cut the cast down, but it felt like there was something missing when I did that, so I added them again.
There is still a lot I need to learn about writing. Writing from more than two perspectives is one of these things, so here we are.

While writing I kept track of them by adding them to different teams of characters. So.... Maybe that's a good way to keep track of them while reading too.
I'll add the characters here, but maybe I'll split that up later, let's see...
