It had been a few months since the accident in the club. David started keeping to himself more and found it harder to trust people, he barely went out like he normally would and took a break from recording. This hit David really hard, he's had his weird encounters including paparazzi and their unusual hiding spots that still shock him to this day but he got over it pretty quickly but not this.

He lay on the couch, laptop in hand biting into an apple. Natalie jumped on the couch behind him scaring him, his apple dropped against his keyboard. He sat up glaring at her "Nat! What the fuck!" He wiped his keyboard with his sleeve. Natalie smiled, "come on Dave, I didn't mean it".

It was late evening and David was napping, he was awakened by Jason and Jeff at his bedroom door. "Hello David! We are the party patrol here to take you on a trip to the ultimate party of the century!" Jason shouted as he shoved his camera into David's face praying for a good reaction.
David acted differently in-front of a camera so it's not as if he could push the camera out his way and tell them to fuck off. He felt bad to say no so decided fuck it and went out, maybe then he would be left alone for a while if he went out this once.

Jeff, Jason and David pulled up to a private gate where they were allowed entry, Jeff drove his car into the drive way. You could hear the music from down the street and the flashing disco lights gave it away that this was where the party is.
Jason opened the door for David then putting his arm around him smiling, "you ready for this David?" 
David wasn't sure but smiled anyway "yeah okay" he giggled. They entered the house where there was thousands of people dancing and drinking.
David seen some old faces from back in the vine life. It surprised him.
After it being an hour into the party, David still wasn't feeling it, in fact he had this thought come into mind 'what if he's never going to be happy'. He felt as if this problem had to be fixed right away but wasn't sure how.

The party was heating up, David stood up trying to find a kitchen or even a water cooler. Anywhere that he could get a fresh cup of water, Jason and Jeff were no where to be seen which didn't help this situation at all.

David barged through the crowd hoping to approach a kitchen but he had no idea where to go, this house was massive. The first thing he came across was a bathroom. He opened the door and shut it behind him, he went over to the sink as he put a hand at each side trying to keep himself together.

Two grown men barged into the bathroom laughing to themselves falling into each other, "excuse me, I'm in here!" David yelled.
"Aw sorry dude" one of the men laughed as the other man pointed "ain't you that David Dobrik?"
David smiled "yeah I'm him... now guys come on, do you mind?"
The dudes stared at him laughing, "listen dude.. eh...you...you do your thing, we're just gonna....ya know...." the man pulled out a bag of coke opening it up and smiling at David.

David rolled his eyes, "I'm just gonna go somewhere else" as he tried to leave the other man grabbed his shirt "listen dude, we've noticed how unhappy you are on all that... ya know...YouTube shit" he laughed. The other man spoke "how bout you try some of dis shit? Hm?" 
David nodded "I don't do that shit man"
The men laughed "everybody's tried it, it gives you a slight buzz, it'll help you. Trust me!"
David repeating himself "listen guys, I get you guys are trying to... help in some way but I don't do this stuff. It would destroy me"
The other man put out lines on the sink and looked back up at David "listen dude, I get ya. You don't wanna do this shit. It's a life destroyer but you really think this one night! Just this one night could be your night off. I see your friends looking at you as a depressed little bitch. You wanna prove them wrong?"
David stopped and thought for a minute, if he took this chance he would be happy for the rest of the night then his friends wouldn't be worried about him. He spent more than a minute deeply thinking about it until he just said fuck it.

He nodded and laughed "okay but just this once and none of you go talking about this"

David bent over snorting one line that turned into another then into another. He came out a new man, a good buzz.
Jason stared over from the other side of the party watching David come out the bathroom with these two men. Jason wasn't too bothered about it until David rubbed his nose, Jason noticed a slight bit of whiteness from under his nostril.

Jason knew and David had no idea.
