I really hate mornings. What is the point of waking up for school? I mean it's not like I need to know what atoms and covalent bonding are, I don't plan on be a scientist in the future.

"Cassieeee get your ass down here NOW!"

Crap, I forgot while I was whining to myself I lost 10 minutes of my time to get ready for school. I jumped out of bed, got changed in 15 minutes and rushed down the stairs before Daddy had one of his moments.

"Daddy I'm ready" I said out of breath

I went to the kitchen and made breakfast for him.

" You took your damn time, do you want me to be late you know money doesn't grow on trees" he was scowling at his paperwork scribbling and correcting notes in a frantic manner, sitting at the breakfast table double checking his reports for his boss.

This is our morning routine everyday

His face was already lightly covered in sweat, his nose dripping.

He slammed his hand on the table, the papers quivered and some scattered on the floor.

"What the hell are you looking at, make my damn breakfast Cassie!" he looked up and glared at me, his face was red and he was breathing harshly, glowering at me.

I inhaled sharply and slowly turned around continuing with breakfast

Ever since Mama died he's grumpy, drunk or worse violent

"I'm just finishing up now" I said while I scooped up the scrambled eggs and bacon from the pan and buttered the toast. I gave Daddy's breakfast to him silently wondering what he would do; he is normally extra grouchy in the mornings. But who could blame him he loved his wife dearly they were married for two decades. I don't really remember the last time Daddy came back from work happy, I don't recall the last time he was happy.

I wish Mama was here, everything would be alright then.

As Daddy was eating I just looked at him thinking when he would get fired from his job as PR Account Manager I seriously have no idea what that means. I guess I don't really know much about him.

"Are you going to school or do you have other plans "He looked at me expectantly waiting for my answer, tapping his fingers on the table.

Dismissed

I stood there awkwardly shifting foot to foot and moving my hands together and picking the tips of my nails nervously.

"Mmmhm bye Daddy see you after school" I mumbled

I grabbed my bag and coat and headed out walking to school.

When I arrived I was greeted by my group of friends as I began talking to my friends about what I did on the weekend I was distracted, contemplating whether I forgot something, I probably just left one of my books at home today.

"Sean happy birthday!" Sharon said while she was trailing her hoe fingers up and down MY boyfriend's arm. Yup my boyfriend the school's football captain. Kind of hard to believe that he would choose me but there you go that's life.

"Seany baby, why don't you come to mine after school and we can you know, catch up on some homework" Sharon placed her mouth behind her hand and whispered, quite loudly. That skank. Everyone looked at me Sean and Sharon going back and forth to my stormy expression to the two of them.

That's it! I have had enough, I mean I know Sean and the biggest slut of the school were doing a 'project' together, I air quote, BUT I trust Sean and maintain that trust till we break up, he was alone in room with her, private room may I add. Does she really have to eye rape him and touch him like that especially in front of everyone at school including ME!

As I was about to get ready to pounce on her and rip her to shreds my best friend Jody intervened, stopping me from body slamming her in front of everyone.

" Hey Sean are you really just gonna let that skank rub herself all over you when your GIRLFRIEND is standing here and the whole school because if you are buster, I'm gonna be the one throwing my fists in your face and kneeing your teeny weeny balls," you see that's why she's my BFF she knows what to do and say at the right time plus all the school, probably the planet knows not to mess with her or the people she cares about otherwise it would get real ugly. Whenever she's in a fight she doesn't just catfight. Nooooo, fist's be flying, ribs be breaking and unspeakable other things including stinging red balls and FYI if you ever were interested in Jody prepare yourselves because if you ever cheat on her that is exactly what would happen.

Sigh

Sean walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me

"I'm sorry babe, you know how she is ever since the breakup she's been clingy" he whispered in my ear. I forgive him instantly because that's the decent thing to do. It's not his fault his ex is a slut.

Why were they ever together in the first place?

On the other hand my boyfriend looks hot who could blame her. His full name is Sean Ward he's 18 year old Senior with smoky grey eyes and chestnut hair and a slim but lean body.

" It's okay Sean I forgive you but if she ever puts her dirty hoey hands on you again please tell me so I can beat the shit outta her" He laughed softly in my ear.

"NAHHH, biatch me and you are gonna beat the skanky shitty outa her" Jody corrected I laughed my pants off while our audience looked like they were gonna go wee wee in their pants. God have I mentioned how amazing my BFF is?

"Babe the bells going to ring in a minute let's find our seats and wait for the teacher to come to class, late as usual" He didn't sound disappointed though.

When he says wait for the teacher he means, he sits on his seat while my seat it on his lap and make out. He always wants to extend the make out session even after the teacher arrives. Of course I don't allow that, I do have some morals.

While this is occurring the cheerleaders sneer at me and flank there short skirts so you can see their thongs in front of the jocks faces, somehow they think that's going to get my boyfriend's attention.

Urghh Sluts.

At least I can have him for myself and mess around with Sean for a few minutes in class, I haven't seen him or talked to him or even texted in forever.
