Why was Kunimi's face heating up? Why did he suddenly feel like he was sweating his ass off? Why was his face red all over?

Kindaichi had been flirting with him for a while now but he just said something i n s a n e. They were on a study date at their local cafe but they weren't really studying. They were really just flirting and embarrassing themselves. They'd been dating for only a few weeks but it had felt like an eternity. Whenever they were with eachother their time together seemed endless.
(A/N: I say that in like every fucking oneshot WTF)
Kunimi looked down and started fiddling with his pen. Kindaichi reached across the table and grabbed Kunimi's hand. He held it tightly and smiled.
"You're cute y'know.."
Kunimi looked up at the onion head with a very red face. Kindaichi laughed at his face and put his free hand on Kunimi's cheek.
"K-Kindaichi?..."
"Kunimi?"
"I...l-love you too.."
Kindaichi smiled and pulled Kunimi in for a soft kiss.
