//bells pov\\
I could hear a mumble of an alarm clock in my room. Great Monday already. I'm so not ready to go to school. I got up and trudged to the noise. Time to get ready. I don't care what my mom said I'm not taking the bus she's taking me enough said. I started to blow dry my hair after my shower. The scent of strawberries filling the air. I decided to go with darker skinny jeans, black vans, and a matching black shirt. I didn't put much makeup on just mascara and a light layer of cover up. I grabbed a granola bar for breakfast and took money out of my moms purse for lunch. "Mom lets go!" I called. 6:45 is usually when the bus comes so I figured we leave about this time. God I can't wait to get my license I hate that you can't keep your American ones when you move here it's bs. "MOM!" I called again grabbing my bag.
*at school*
My schedule was the most confusing thing I've ever seen. As I thought a ton of people were staring at me. I could easily pick out the jocks who were socializing with the preppy bitches I assumed doubled as cheer leaders. The nerdier groups. The invisibles who like to be alone, soon to be as well. Then the people that are just faces in the halls. "Excuse me ca-" I tried to ask for help but the people just kept giving me looks and walking on. "Can you help me fin-" I grunted as they just pushed past me. "You look a little lost" someone laughed. I spun around and a small smile formed on my face. " Taxi boy," I spoke, "didn't expect to see you here". "I could say the same about you..the names Max by the way". He took my schedule from me and studied it. "I think I'll be sticking with taxi boy". He smiled as he looked up from the paper. "You're first period is across from mine I'll walk you". I followed as he lead the way. I tried my best to make small talk as he asked me where I was from and why I moved here, the basic new girl questions. "Here we are. I'll meet you here after the bell and take you to your next class" Max smiled. "I never caught your name". "Bell" I gave a half smile and walked through my classroom door. "Ah there you are. Class we have a new student" great. The man looked around his mid-thirties and seemed nice. I stood awkwardly at the front of the room with everyone's eyes on me as he rummaged through papers. "Everyone this is Bell. She's from New York." Can you please stop with the stupid introduction. "Bell you can sit ne-" he was cut off from telling me where to sit by the door shutting. "Styles" he said dully with a hint of annoyance. "Take your seat." He sounded angry. I turned around to see a familiar looking boy. The one who was watching me talk to max. He was looking me up and down with a smirk on his face. as he walked passed me he said something to himself clearly loud enough for me to hear, "Even better up close". It sent chills down my spine. "Bell you can take the empty seat". The teacher, mr. Deb, had instructed and he began teaching English class. I looked around only to find one empty seat. Great. I walked through desks next to the mysterious boy. I felt his eyes on me the entire time. I'm not going to enjoy this class. The bell rang and I went to go meet max as soon as I could. I stood in the hallway for a good minute before someone came up behind me. I turned expecting max but I saw him instead. He leaned closer to my ear so he could whisper over the hallway noise. "He is already at second period I'll take you" he smirked. He was seriously the tallest most intimidating man ever. I wanted to speak confidently but it came out a sad noise, "no I'm waiting for someone". He chuckled. "Cmon" his thick accent spoke as he grabbed hold of my wrist making me walk with him. "Where to?" He questioned as he released me. "Mrs. Henry" I spoke quietly. "What's your last name?" He asked not even looking at me. His voice was stiff with no emotion. I waited a minute before replying, trying to seem like I was in control. "Stephan" again my voice was small. She looked at me and smirked again. That's going to get annoying so fucking fast. "Styles. The classes are alphabetical. Looks like I'll be seeing a lot of you" he winked. Ew. He's cocky as all bloody hell.
*lunch*
It was finally lunch and as styles, I decided that's his name until I find out his first one, had said we had every class together besides art. He was late to all of them. One he didn't show up for until three minutes before bell. Wtf. I brought an apple and a bottle of water to school as a meal because I'm not trying to deal with this stupid currency here. And I had no where to eat. I found an empty table and sat there. It didn't take long for people to start starring. A girl with a light pink top that was too tight and skinny jeans that were also too tight came up to me. "Hey you're that new girl? Beth right?" She asked as she annoyingly chewed her gum. "Bell" I corrected. She got a slight dirty look on her face. Probably not used to being corrected. "Right" she said sarcastically, "anyways you ever think of cheering?" She continued. "Please, how - bout - no" I said in a typical cheer leader voice. I didn't like the way she acted. She was snobby so I'll be snobby back. she let out the fake set laugh I've ever heard, " think about it that wasn't that bad" she got up and walked back to her little group. I looked up and saw styles walk into the cafeteria. He instantly saw me looking and smirked. I would've blushed in embarrassment if he hadn't shown that stupid smirk. He winked and walked elsewhere.
*fast forward again*
The bell signaling the end of school rang and I started to put my paint brushes away. I watched the streets my mom turned on to get here and it's only about a 15 minute walk and if I get lost I can always use my phone so I decided to walk home instead of the bus. I opened my locker to put away some textbooks and grab what I needed when the familiar sound of someone chewing came up to me. "Hey I'm Stacy by the way" the girl from lunch said. When I never answered she spoke again, this time less fake preppy, "I saw you with max..and I saw you looking at Harry like you want his dick so bad" I tried to protest but she wouldn't let me using a perfectly manicured hand to shush me, "stay away from them. All the hot ones belong to me skank" shocked, all I could do was watch her walk away as she swished her hips way to forcibly. Unbelievable. I started walking home and I was so ready for I nice peaceful walk to get the stress of today gone. My hopes were crushed as soon as a black range rover pulled up next to me. "You're seriously walking?" Harry, as Stacy called him, said. His tone was hard to read. It sounded sarcastic or maybe it was humerus but then again he showed no signs of how he felt in his voice. I just kept walking. "Suit yourself." I heard him say but it only sounded like a whisper as he drove off. So much for being chivalrous. Not that I would've gotten in anyways.
