My alarm blared through my silent room. I really didn't want to move. After another five minutes of telling myself i still have plenty of time I got out of bed and slugged to the bathroom. Half asleep, I took a shower and brushed my teeth, then went and got dressed. I finally looked in the mirror to do my hair and my mouth fell agape. On my check was no other than a bruise shaped slightly like a hand. I grazed my fingers just over my cheek bone and hissed at the pain. Damn. After I threw my hair into a messy pony tail I started to cover the bruise. After mascara and maybe three layers of foundation I settled on how it looked. At 6:40 I went outside and waited for my bus. I sat in mr. Debs class waiting for class to start. To my surprise Harry was here on time. He sat in the seat next to mine and didn't glance over to me. I was kind of glad because now at least he wouldn't see my bruise but I was also confused because he was kind of sweet last night. Half way through class I was excused to use the bathroom. I didn't have to go or anything I just wanted to make sure the bruise wasn't really visible. I got a good look in the mirror and decided on adding a little more cover up. As soon as I opened the bathroom door I saw Harry. I tried to ignore him and just walk back to class but it wasn't that easy. He put his hand on the locker next to me blocking my path. "Who did that" his normal emotionless voice that I fucking hated was deep and raspy due to the early morning. I knew exactly what he was referring to. "I have no clue what you're talking about" I used his signature voice and went around him. Surprisingly he didn't bother stopping me, maybe that's not surprising, maybe I'm over thinking every little thing. At lunch max came and sat with me. "Hey" he said cheerfully. "Uhm hi" I replied looking over at his table full of jocks and skimpy cheerleaders. I usually sat alone because I knew absolutely no one but him and Harry. "It is ok if I sit here right?" He looked slightly disappointed by my hesitation. "Yes, yea, of course" I quickly stammered out earning a small chuckle. He was wearing glasses and if I'm honest he looked 10 times better in them. "Well I want you to meet everyone" he said standing up. I reluctantly followed him to his table. I stood partly behind him awkwardly as the group of people continued on with their conversation. "Bell, this is amber, jake, Tyler, Chloe, mark, Rachael, Zoe, Emily, and Tom." He went down the row and all of them just looked up completely uninterested. after a few seconds of awkward silence max spoke up. "The other half of them don't have the same lunch period as us". I just nodded. The boys went on eating and the girls gave me a dirty look but soon began talking again. "I'm going to just go back to my seat" I spoke lowly to max before walking away. Once the school day was over I decided to go to the park from the night before.
