I got into the new pastel pink dress I bought yesterday and a pair of comfy flats. I was going to meet my bestfriend,Xiumin at a café where we frequent. To be honest,I was feeling nervous. I had a crush on Xiumin the first day I saw him but then,he kinda friendzoned me when he suggested to be bestfriends. Well, bestfriends were better than nothing. Everytime,I meet up with him,I get a fluttery feeling and I treat it as a date. Yes, I know I'm delusional. Xiumin is never going to like me back anyway.
Fetching my bag,I headed out.
Xiumin's POV
I was at the café _______ and I agreed to meet at. She was 15 minutes late. Well,as usual. This bestfriend of mine is ALWAYS late and she always uses the same,old excuse. I had to do some girl stuff.
I know that she's referring to make-up but I find it unnecessary. She's beautiful even when she's not wearing make-up.
I tapped my foot impatiently. Today,I was going to introduce someone special to her. My....girlfriend. Nah,I'm just kidding. I got you,didn't I? XD. I was going to let her meet my sister who had just come back from America because she studies abroad. I had a feeling that they were going to click because both of them have an obsession with kpop. Psh,can't they see that I'm WAY more handsome than that Xiumin guy from EXO. It's funny that he even has the same name as me.
I took a sip of my caramel macchiato as I continued to wait.

I got off the bus hurriedly. I was late. AGAIN. Xiumin said that he was going to let me meet someone special. Not wanting to keep them waiting for too long,I quickened my pace.

I fixed my messy hair once more and took a deep breath. I wanted to have a good impression in front of that special person. Opening the door,I wondered who that special person could be.
I took a step but then froze. I felt tears well up and I immediately looked away. It felt as if my heart was broken into a million pieces.
Xiumin was chatting heartily with some girl. I guess the special person he was talking about was his girlfriend. I cursed myself inwardly. Did you actually think you would stand a chance?
That girl was much more prettier and skinnier than me. I couldn't compare to her. I turned around to leave. I'd just tell Xiumin that I had something urgent.
Just as I was about to leave,Xiumin called out my name. Just leave, you're just going to hurt yourself.
I ignored him and continued walking away. But he kept chasing after me.
"________! Wait! Where are you going?"he shouted. Hearing his voice,I cried even harder.
He finally caught up with me and held me back by my wrist. I wriggled out of his grasp and continued walking like nothing happened. He caught me again but this time his grip was much more firm.
"Let go of me,"I mumbled,looking down so he couldn't see my red,puffy eyes.
He lifted my chin and his gaze on me softened.
"You cried?"he asked,worried.
"No,"I lied.
"Who made you cry?"he asked as he pulled me closer and enveloped me into a tight hug. I cried even harder.
"It's you!"I screamed and pushed him away.
"I know that I didn't have a chance at all from the start and now,I'm just hurting myself. Xiumin,I loved you the first day I laid my eyes on you. But I know you won't like me back because such a perfect person like you would never settle for a peasant like me and I was right. You found a girl much better than me. I'm sorry but I....can't feel happy for you,"I said in a breath and stopped to catch my breath.
"You....like me?"his eyes locked with mine. I nodded shyly. The next thing I knew was that Xiumin's lips crashed with mine. My eyes widened at realisation and I kissed him back. He pulled back and hugged me.
"_______, you're so silly. I loved you too from the first day we met and the girl you claim to be my girlfriend is my sister!"he said and flicked me lightly on the forehead.
I gasped as I realised my stupid mistake.
"So,shall we go meet her? And this time, I'm introducing you as my girlfriend."he winked.
I blushed as he held my hand and we walked back to the café. I guess my mistake wasn't exactly a mistake.
