You sighed as the thought came back of that night, you left his apartment in a hurry without a word or anything. That was a week ago. I mean he didn't seem like the type to be tied down so maybe it didn't matter to him. You shook of the thoughts as you got up getting ready for your first day at your new job with the BAU.

After your shower you put on some light make up just enough to enhance your features. You walked out of your bathroom and to your closet looking for something to wear. Finally deciding on some black jeans and a dark blue, tight sweater, you got dressed and headed down stairs. You had already been given your guns and badge the day before as you grabbed your bag and phone. You headed out the door.

As you were walking you decided to grab a cup of coffee and continued your way to the BAU building. Upon arrival you were greeted by the nice desk lady as she told you where to head. You thanked her and made your way over to the elevator and riding up to the floor you needed. To say you were nervous was an understatement, even if your boss had said the team would love you, you couldn't help but feel the anxiety building in your stomach. You fiddled with the ring your mother gave you, something you often did when nervous.

The elevator dinged signaling your made it up to the floor. You took a deep breath and stepped off heading in the direction you need. You saw some people through the glass your guess was members of the team. A beautiful blonde women spotted you and made her way over to you. "Hey there, you must be the new team member, I'm Jennifer Jareau, but please call me JJ." She smiled sticking her hand out for you to take. You smiled taking her hand and giving it a small shake "I'm (Y/N) (L/N), it's nice to meet you, where is Agent Hotchner's office?" You asked politely. She pointed the way and you thanked her making your way over to the stairs.

Some of the other members had taken notice of you. As you made your way to the stairs you made eye contact with the person you never thought you'd see again. Your eyes widened as did his. You quickly made your way up the stairs to avoid any awkward commentary. You took a deep breath before knocking earning a 'come in' you made your way in shutting the door behind you.

~Morgan's Pov~

I was busy talking to Reid and Prentiss when their attention turned somewhere else. "Look the new girls here," Reid said causing me to turn to get a good look at her. I was not expecting what I saw, my eyes widened as she passed noticing hers did too. "Oh my..." I didn't even finish as my eye followed her until she disappeared into Hotch's offices. "Do you know her?" JJ asked gaining my attention, "you remember that one night stand I mentioned that left before I woke up and didn't leave anything for me in the morning and didn't even say bye," now normally for me it wouldn't bother me I mean I do have a reputation but something about her was different. They nodded not really getting why I was mentioning this, "well...that's her," I said leaning against his desk. They busted out laughing making me glare "maybe she knew she better do it before you did," Prentiss said elbowing me, I rolled my eyes "shut up, she was different," he said before a throat was cleared behind them.

I stood next to Hotch, as he told me to call him, as the team turned around from him grabbing their attention. "Team this is (Y/n) (L/N), our new team member," he introduced, I waved and said a small 'hi' trying not the make eye contact with you know who. "Agent (L/n), this is SSA Morgan, Prentiss, Jareau, and Doctor Reid, you'll also meet Garcia and Rossi later," he introduced before telling you where your desk would be and taking his leave back to his office. I sucked in some air before I turned back to the team with a nervous smile.

"You'll fit right in don't worry, I'm Emily," the black haired girl said patting your shoulder and helped you unpack your desk things, "soo...I heard about you and Derek," she whispered causing my cheeks to flare up, "oh...I thought he'd forget," you said glancing back at him and Reid noticing them looking at you. "I feel bad for leaving but I just felt it was better," you said and she nodded. "Well I'm gonna get coffee, it was really nice meeting you again," she said before walking off.

You sighed and sat at your desk getting started on basic assignments Hotch wanted you to start with. It was getting late and people were starting to leave saying goodbye to you and the other. It was just you, Derek and Spencer left. You got up to go get some coffee, Derek taking this opportunity to talk to you alone. You entered the break room him right behind you, "(Y/n)..." he said. You jumped slightly almost spilling the coffee, you turned around and looked at who you were afraid it was, "o-oh hey," you said nervously. You tried to walk past him quickly but he just shut the door preventing you from leaving, 'shit' you thought looking at him, "you never left your phone number or anything," he began making you gulp, he started walking towards you making you back up into a table, "did I do that bad?" He asked with a slight hurt chuckle, you shook your head "no no I just...I don't know," you sigh as he comes closer making you even more nervous at how close he was, you could practically feel his breath on you face. "You know I just assumed you did it with most girls anyway..." you shyly admit, he chuckled "well your assumption was correct but something about you...is different," he stated causing you to finally make eye contact, 𝐁𝐀𝐃 𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐀, you gulped as his face got closer to yours, you couldn't take it anymore and quickly pushed yourself forward connecting your lips to his, he was shocked at first but soon came to his senses and placed his hands under your thighs pulling you up on the table. You were going at it for a hot minute until a cough interrupted your moment. You both turned and saw Reid standing there awkwardly, "sorry I just wanted coffee, sadly my eyes have been ruined," he said and turned away walking out. You both chuckled before he looked down at you, "can I actually have your number this time without you running away," he teased, you blushed and nodded giving him your number, "thanks mama," he smirked, you rolled your eyes and walked out with your coffee.

Let's just say you felt bad for what Reid had to witness, sooo you brought him coffee in the morning for a while.
