Also this is kinda a futuristic dystopian type world in the year 2106 but they are either 18-19. :) enjoy

Like everyday Eddie woke up around 8:20am. He never woke up any later or earlier, he never knew why he woke up that early but it was always at 8:20 am on the dot.

"Eddie-Bear!" Sonia knocked on Eddies door and came in before Eddie could answer. "Today you get your color!". Everyone would get a color on their 18th birthday and luckily it was Eddies birthday. "Okay mommy I'm gonna get dressed." "Okay don't forget your pills, we don't wanna leave them here now do we?" Sonia glared at Eddie but in a way where he understood that she meant to say "Take them with you everywhere".

Finally taking a shower and putting on his clothes. Everyone wore light grey clothes until they got their color Eddie wasn't so fond of it but he had gotten used to it after about 10 years.

He wore a light grey hoodie with grey overalls and slip on vans. And his Fanny pack he could never forget that.

"Mommy I'm on my way to go get my color I'll text you what color I get" as soon as Eddie started to walk out the door he turned around in an instant to get his mother a kiss like the last 18 years of his life. Then he was on his way.

As soon as he got there he saw lots of teens guessing their birthdays were today too, that was the only reasonable answer he could think of.

Everyone got a number based on their last name, he was number 10. He zoned out for about 5 minutes until he heard "Edward...I mean Eddie Kaspbrak please come to stage to receive your color" he then walked onto the stage his face turned a like shade of pink.

He close his eyes, to be opened once again as he saw the lights flash to a yellow. He was in the Yellow group which meant he was described as creative. He did like to paint but he thought he would be in blue, but he was happy with yellow. He was glad he wasn't in green because he was more of a follower.

"Congratulations Eddie you are in the Yellow group we will get Ben here to show you where you will be staying, you will be his roommate." Ben flashed a big smile at Eddie and Eddie returned a smaller one.

"Hello my name is Ben Hanscom!" He held out his hand as they walked off the stage. Eddie was hesitant but soon shook his hand. "I'm Eddie" he returned the handshake and followed Ben to where he would be staying for most likely his whole life.

Also I've never watched either of the It movies so if I get something wrong please comment because the only reason I know about this is from clips I've watched on YouTube and what my friend has told me so yeah. Ik it's dumb to write and au without watching the movies but I know a lot. ( not everything but key details that matter)
