Chapter 2: Reunion

Lenalee's POV

"Allen-kun" I mumbled.

He looked so... different. But, without a doubt it was still Allen-kun. It was still the boy that I fell in love with. Of course I won't say this out loud. If I did nii-San would somehow find out and hunt him down till he can't move anymore.

I felt hot tears streaming down my face as I ran towards him. I buried my head in his chest, as I felt warm muscular arms rap around me.

I slowly lifted my head to look at him. I remember when he first came to the order. He had been so much shorter then. Now I had to look up, to look him in the eyes.

"I guess Kanda can't call you moyashi anymore" I mumbled. He must of heard me, because I heard him chuckling and felt his chest vibrating, making me blush.

I finally let the tears that I had kept caged in for so long flow freely, as I silently sobbed into his chest.

"Promise me you won't leave again" I said barely above a whisper. His grip around me tightened as he quietly mumbled "I promise."

Those two words were enough to send me over the edge. I fell to my knees. Allen-kun kneeled in front of me still holding on tightly. It felt like, if I let go now he might disappear again, but this time for good.

I looked up at his face to see that his skin had changed back to normal, and the pentacles on his forehead had faded away. His hair still stained from his own blood, but his smile was still there.

That small gesture was enough to make it feel like I melted on the inside. As I sat there rapt up in his arms, one thought kept repeating in my head.

'I love you'

Johnny's POV

I watched as the pentacles slowly faded from Allen's head. Lenalee was desperately holding on to him, and it broke my heart to see her seem so weak. I glanced in front of me to see Kanda lowering Mugen, without any emotion.

He silently said "tch" and walked away. But before he did I couldn't help but notice the small smile forming on his lips.

How was that? Short yes but I'm in a car and it's really bumpy and I can barely keep my eyes open at the moment. anyways I hoped you enjoyed. :)
