When I opened my eyes, there was no one in front of me. I was alone in my bed. It was just a dream as I groaned in annoyance. I felt the sheet underneath me was dampened. This is the third time this week. I sat up and ruffled my hair vigorously. Suddenly, Xavier barged into the room; "Your highness, good morning!" he greeted as he sat on the edge of the bed. He rested his head on the bed with his hand supporting his head. I was astonished as his scent was overflowing in the air. "Xavier, get out!" I growled as I held my breath. He sat up abruptly shocked by my reply. "Understood, your highness!" he mumbled, and he left.

I slumped on my bed, inhaling his scent. I felt the heat between my thighs. I growled in frustration. Xavier avoided me the whole morning, making me very impatient. "What happened with the both of you?" Sia asked as I was plunging my head on my arms resting on the table. "I couldn't get enough sleep recently and Xavier has been barging into my room daily! I might rape him if this continues!" I mumbled. "Well, if you tell him. This would not be a problem!" she exclaimed as she placed a bunch of documents in front of me

I lazily flipped each page, reading the memorandum. One of the memoranda stated that King Silas from Magma requested that the queen should find a suitor immediately and he has the candidate. I showed it to Sia, and she chuckled. I realized I should not be immature, so I decided to find Xavier. I quickly finished my work and signing off all those important documents.I wandered around the palace searching for Xavier.

I heard noises coming from one of the guest rooms. As to my knowledge, we do not have any guests currently. The door was not shut properly; there is still a small gap. I glanced through the door and to my horror; I saw a lady half- nude on top of Xavier. She was moaning as she straddles on him. His hands were on her hips. I stormed off immediately; the anger in me erupted. "Do not let anyone into my chamber!" I growled at Sia as I stomped to my room.

"Rose!" Sia exclaimed but I ignored her, and I slammed the door behind me. I dropped on my bed, crying tremendously. That night, Xavier was knocking at my door requesting my presence for dinner, but I ignored him. "Your highness, I beg for your forgiveness! I should not vent my temper to you!" he begged. I kept silent. I realized that Xavier does not consider me as his mate. I decided to reject him.

The next morning, I stared at my puffy red eyes. I went to take a warm bath and wore a beautiful purple long dress with slits on both sides which revealed my thighs. I opened the door and Xavier who was sleeping against the door fell in front of me. "Your highness, I am sorry!" he begged. I tried to control myself from tearing again. "It's alright! We all have emotions." I answered as I helped him up. A foreign scent was on him; the stench made me growled. I released my hand and left Xavier standing there dumbfounded.

"Go and take a bath!" I said as I walked to my throne. Sia stood next to me; "Sia, may I know who wanted to propose to me yesterday?" I asked seriously. She was outraged by my question. "King Silas from Magma." She answered. "Alright! Send him a message signifying that I am interested in his offer!" I continued. "Your high..." I waved my left hand shutting her off. "Noted, your highness!" she answered. Xavier came down with his unkempt dirty blonde wearing a black tunic.

He stood next to me silently. We have been distancing each other; I was avoiding him. I blamed myself for not telling him but what is done is done and there is no going back. I have decided to marry whoever that would propose to me soon. This will help me to control myself from Xavier as my soon to be husband scent will fill me. All I need to do is bear with the stench. I planned to reject him on this coming full moon. I teared just thinking about it.
