Part 7: Hello

So now Chanyeol knows everything about Kai. From the Jennie issues, the shooting incident, and also about the torturing of Krystal last time.

Minho also gave him the copy of the surgeries taken by Kai. To be Oh Sehun.

Every year, the Prime Minister would have a dinner inviting the close friends of he's, close families and also some ministers in line. But this year, the main course, was to announce about his retirement.

"We have to go?"

"Son, this is your chance."

"I know but I don't plan to meet him like this."

The father grasped Chanyeol's shoulder tight.

"You can do better in this."

Chanyeol sigh follow by an unpleasant smile.

The father of he's, the General Police who been hiding a thousands of secrets of the Prime Minister. That's why they are "close". Well said.

The family wasn't that good. Any ministers would involved in scandals. For sure. And for Kai's father, thousands. From corruption, bribery, scandals and few more. And the one who kept the secrets was Chanyeol's dad.

He said, he couldn't endure any of this anymore. He's getting older, tired over these shitty things. He said what he and Kai's father did during their young ages need to find it's end. Or else, things going to be more worse. Especially when it's about Kai.

This was the time for Chanyeol to disclose every single things left for him.

The family arrived at the mansion.
Chanyeol wore a black tuxedo with a black turtle neck. He let the hair in grey.

Around 50 plus ministers were invited. The members of the parliament and some high level officer. The ceremony kind of private. No medias were allowed to come in. So they just buzzing outside the mansion.

Chanyeol and his father entered the main hall. Meeting a few of ministers, Chanyeol put a wide smile on his face.

Most of the compliments he heard,

'You looks so young!'
'Your son was so handsome.'
'He's tall.'
'I don't know you have this kind of perfect son, sir.'

and a few more.

He just nod, basically agreed.

He then ask for an excuse to grab some drinks on the table. Right moment when he bump into Krystal from the next table. He make a move.

She's wearing a sapphire blue dress, with a black heels. Tied her hair into a ponytail. She was standing next to her husband, Suho.

"Jung!"

Krystal look behind, there's Chanyeol walking to her. She frown, trying to remember who he was.

"The police boy?"

She said. Chanyeol nod, follow with a chuckle.

"Oh my god. Park Chanyeol!"

Krystal hug him light, he replied.

"How you doing now?"

Krystal suddenly sweetly pulling Suho in the middle of the conversation,

"I'm married."

Well, Suho's was the answer for the question.

"I know you married."
"Hello sir."

Chanyeol long his hand for a shake, Suho accepted. He smiled, saying we should continue our conversation. Suho then left, talking to other guests.

"He's smart. I mean look good together."

Krystal chuckled, agreeing.

"So, where have you been?"
"I'm still here, I plant a hotel."
"Oh really? Which one?"
"Park Teal Hotel."

Krystal seems shocked. She cup her mouth, with her eyes wildly open.

"Do you mean the Park Teal Hotel in black color? In the town?!"

Her voices sound excited plus anxious.

"Yes?"
Chanyeol confused.

"Oh my god! I really really loved the interior design of yours! I mean like the minimalist version and all the stuffs in it."

"Ah really?"

"Yes! And I even create my office place like yours. Sorry-"

She pouted.

"I can sue you for plagiarism then."

Chanyeol whispers.

"Jung-"
"Yes."
"I heard Kai's home."

The expression of Krystal's changed after the name was mentioned. Chanyeol noticed she looks a bit uncomfortable and anxious.

"Yes- he's going to be here soon."

She looked away, wet her sudden dry throat with the glass of wine in her hand.
