"I'll be back in a few, just nipping out for a fag", Rory chuckled whilst getting up from the bar, making her way to the door. It was quite a chilly night in Manchester. Rory was out to celebrate her best friend Mimi's birthday. As she was wrapping her jacket closer around her slim body, she heard a weird noise coming from the alley beside her. She couldn't figure out what it was, so she decided to investigate. "Hey, you alright?", she called out when she was standing at the entrance at the alley. She saw a man, leaving down against the wall. He looked quite tall even when he was sitting down, with a massive ginger mop on top of his head, or at least that's what she made out from the densely lit lamppost which was their only source of light. He looked intimidating, which was hard for Rory to admit cause hardly anything scares her. "Yeah I'm alright, nothing to worry about here", the man whimpered. Rory didn't know whether this was a good idea or not, to try help this man she's just met in an alley who could be dangerous, but she was always taking care of others before herself no matter the circumstances. As she slowly started making her way closer to the intriguing man, she noticed he had blood on his face.
"Your bleeding"
"Am I?"
"Yes, come here closer to the light, I'll help you clean it up"
He was quite unsure whether to get up and trust the woman a few feet away from him. Even from the horrendous lighting he could see her features. She had that look on her like everyone in his life recently has. Worried. Nervous. Afraid. But she still looked beautiful to him. Her short raven black hair that goes just above her shoulders, slightly wavy, the nose ring she had that shined when it got a good amount of light on it. And her eyes. Her piercing blue eyes that you could just get lost in even from here. "I wonder that their like up close", he wondered to himself.
He slowly started sitting up and making his way to stand in front of her under the lamppost, slightly stumbling. She slowly reached her hand out towards him, "Hello, I'm Rory". He gladly shook it. "I'm James'.
