This is the first full proper poem I wrote about five or six years when I was in a creative writing group I was part of. It means a lot to me and it may be older than the rest of my poems but it will always have a place in my heart so enjoy.

Home

Home is the place where I live,

Home is a place for memories,

Home is where you have dinner with your family,

Home is where you have entertainment,

Home is where your bedroom is,

Home is where your neighbours live,

Home is you staring into the atmosphere around you, as well as your laptop screen,

Home is where your two annoying dogs live,

Home is where I live,

until it's time to move out and find a new home.
