LUKE'S POV

I opened my eyes. Amanda was beside me, and she was smiling fakely to me. I sat on the king sized bed, feeling a bit tired.

"Good morning, Lucas. Hope you sleep well. Prepare yourself, you have breakfast with your fathers". I nodded in agreement. She turned around and left my room.

She didn't like me, and I can tell that the feeling was mutual. She's so fake, she once tried to be my friend, but then I discovered that it was just because she wanted tomarry me and become queen. Since then, we have been playing this game of faking smiles and sweet words. It honestly made me sick.

I waked with a yawn. I stretched, the stupind bed was making my back hurt.

After dressing I did my hair, and finally went downstairs to the dinningroom, were my parets were.

"Good mornig son" my mother said. "Morning". She looked at me with a worried face.

"Did you sleep well, Lucas? Are you okay?" She asked in concern. "Yes mother, Im just a bit tired".

After finising eating, my father looked at me with a huge smile. "Lucas, son, I have some great news for you". I looked up from my plate, interested. My father didn't usually talk much to me, he was bussy running our little kingdom. "Yes father?" "You're gonna turn 17 soon, and the boys at that age usually know how to fight and use swords. Your mother wanted you to have a more peaceful chilhood, but it's time for you to start trainning." "But-" I tried to say "No Lucas, there's no 'buts'. Understand?" He asked, now serious. I lowered my head and nodded in response. "Good boy" my father muttered."By the way, Lucas, I hired a trainer to teach you. You'll meet bim tomorrow. Is the captain of the royal guard, a great man, very loyal. He'll teach you well, I know."

I sighned. 'Great, now I have to train with some old man that probably has spend his life from battle to battle' I though. Little could I know how wrong I was.
