For Love

(Note from Nironus: Hey guys Nironus here. I just wanted to apologize for making the last few chapters shorter than usual. The reason is for creative reasons my goal is to separate the ending arc (Which we are in now with this and the next few chapters), into smaller pieces/chapters for maximum immersion. Picture it as the last episode of a tv show that's broken into pieces to build an arc so people can enjoy it as long as possible. Thank you guys so much for sticking with me.)

Red eyes woke up lazily. The vision of their owner met with a sea of loose and free ginger resting on the side of his new lover's creamy white shoulder. Lenore shuffled in bed as she turned her self to meet his gaze. " Good night. " She whispered softly. (YN) smiled in return as he brought his fingers to her hair, brushing the loose strands away from her face.

" We slept that long? " (YN) whispered in surprise. " Of course we did, my Dark Lord. " She replied teasingly in between giggles. " We had to based on how good last night was. " The Sith Lord chuckled in response. " I still can't believe that happened. " Lenore gave him a questioning look. " Why not? " She asked. " (YN) closed his eyes and sank his head deeper into his pillow. " Love stories involving Sith Lords never tend to end well. " He said. Lenore got on her knees and towered over the vampiric Sith. " This one will, (YN). " She said sincerely.
" We will both make sure of it. " (YN) nodded. " Yes we will, my love. " He said. Lenore pecked his cheek then climbed off the bed and went to get dressed. (YN) got dressed a few minutes later.

Every day the Council of Sisters met and discussed plans for the future of the queendom. (YN) was now allowed to be present on account of his bodyguard duties, much to the dismay of Carmilla and the rest of the sisters. They were discussing how many more night creatures Hector needed to make before they were ready for their conquest of Wallachia. With Dracula gone and the remaining vampire factions in complete disarray, there was a huge power vacuum left to be filled. After the meeting, the two made their way to Lenore's room. " I'm sorry about your neck. " Lenore apologized. A look of embarrassment on her face. " What (YN) asked. He went to the mirror in her room and noticed two puncture wounds on his neck. " When did this happen? " The Sith asked. " I don't remember this? " He turned to look at Lenore who was now sitting on her bed. " I bit you in climax after we came together for the fourth time, I think? " She replied casually. (YN) flinched and cringed at the same time, earning a laugh by Lenore. " Very funny. " (YN) murmured.

" Don't be mad at me, dear (YN). " She purred to him. " I'm only teasing. " The vampire girl stretched her leg and began stroking his thigh with her foot. (YN) rolled his eyes then stepped closer into her reach. " We need to talk, Lenore but, not here. " He said. Lenore took into consideration his serious expression. She nodded then followed the Sith Lord out the door. They found themselves at the courtyard's balcony. The two vampires looked outward and admired the view. " Tell me. " Lenore said softly. " What is it? " (YN) leaned onto the balcony's railing and faced her. " Last night, Lenore. " He started. " I saw what you really wanted. I probed your mind with the force when we were together. " Lenore's eyes widened. She held back her anger. " Why? " She asked sternly. " I had to. " (YN) replied. " I had to know for sure you meant everything you said to me. You're the first person to truly care about me. " Lenore placed her hand on his shoulder. A saddened expression engulfing her face. " I understand, (YN). But, what you saw. It will never come to be. I came to terms with it centuries ago. I'm loyal to my sisters. We're a courtete after all.  " She said calmly. The vampire girl turned to begin heading back when (YN) called to her.

" There is no loyalty among equals, Lenore. " The Sith Lord seethed in anger. " Being a Sith Lord has taught me that much. Does Carmilla really care about you? Does she really think she considers you an equal? " Lenore looked back to him. The two faced each other in the windy dead of night.  Lenore gave in. " No. " She said. (YN) then stepped up to Lenore and bowed before her. " Then I will give you the rule of two I promised. " He vowed. " Will you allow me? " Lenore bent down to his level and kissed him. " I do. "
