"you need blinds or curtains or something." was the first thing mark heard when the sun's rays hit him in the face as it rose.

"good morning to you, too," he grumbled, nestling himself further into the mattress.

mattresses don't inhale and exhale, or ruffle hair, or smell like raindrops and honey. he was not nestling into a mattress, but rather into a person.

a person named lee donghyuck.

"haha, um, my bad..." he detached himself from him and threw the blankets over his head to cover his embarrassment.

donghyuck giggled again; mark felt on the verge of cardiac arrest.

"it's whatever; you're soft! i have to go back to my room to get ready. meet you outside?"

mark hummed his agreement and watched as donghyuck effortlessly made his way back to his own bedroom. third time's the charm, it seems.
