Sonic is someone who likes running, so why I don't ship him with someone who likes flying? And Owlette will be perfect for him...

You may say that this couple is ridiculous, but these two are kind of same. Sonic and Owlette are independent, always help their friends, love racing (that can be seen in one of Owlette episodes in Pj Masks) and they are sometimes impacient (I compare them by Sonic Lost World and Ep 1 from Pj Masks)
I think for their meeting, Sonic saws a red feather and he grabs it thinking where it came from, and then Owlette was being shooted by one of Romeo's rays and then Sonic catchs her; maybe Catboy and Gecko have saved her, but she only says "thank you" with no blushing or anything, but I'm sure if Sonic or other character have saved her, she may have blushed. And I think then Sonic will see how she looks like in day and he will accept her anyways... cause I think Sonic and Amaya are perfect together too. If Sonic and Owlette were in the show or the videogames, she may be saved by Sonic a lot of times and also Owlette have helped him save the world from Eggman and other villains (cause they will do anything to save the world from anyone who wants to conquer it)
