Chapter 4

Kate's POV
I was sitting in the apartment alone it's been a stressful week and I don't know if I could take it anymore. Then an idea popped into my head. I should take a bubble bath. I finally have the apartment to myself for the first time in forever. I went to my room and I grabbed my clothes and a towel and went into the bathroom. I turned on pandora and switches and turned on my classical station then put my hair up in a bun. Before I got in Alfa started barking. "Alpha hush." i said he went quite. then I heard a knock at the door. I groaned Will forget his key. I wrapped a towel around me and went to go unlock the door "Will you need to have... Hello Drew." I said "Did I come at a bad time?" He asked I felt my face turn red "Yeah I was just about to get in the shower." I lied "Oh well then I guess I'll let you do that I was just going to ask if you wanted to go out for your birthday tonight I mean I know it's not until tomorrow but I thought why not take you out tonight?" He said rambling on i couldn't say no that would make me a total jerk plus it would be awkward at work. "Sure." I said "Really?" His face lit up "but is it okay with your boyfriend?" He ask "Who? Will no we are just friends." I said "oh okay well I guess I'll pick you up at eight yeah?" He asked "Yeah that sounds good." I say smiling "Okay then I guess I'll see you later." He said walking away. I closed the door and went back into the bathroom and took my bath.

After

I was sitting in my room listening to Jordan and Will arguing back and forth on just little things. they've been at each others throats all week. "KATE!" I heard Will yell "What?!" I yell back "come here pleeeeeeeasa" he asked "Why?" I asked "because." He said back "Will I need to be ready in an hour I need to get ready." I was playing with my hair seeing that would look good I just decided to straighten it. I went to my vanity and put on my make up to cover up all the imperfections on my face. then mascara. I went to my closet and I just grabbed a pair of dark denim skinny jeans, black under shirt, then a dark grey sweater.

I looked into my mirror and I actually looked good. then I looked at the time 7:58. He should be here any minute. this is the first time since I've been on a date. I heard a knock at the front door. "ILL GET IT WILL!" I ran to the door and opened it "wow you look amazing." Drew said "Thank you so do you. let me just get my boots on and we can go." I say while bringing him inside. "Drew you know Will. But this is his friend Jordan." I say while getting my combat boots on. "Nice to meet ya man." Jordan said. "Okay I'm going out and I'll be back. you both have my phone number so if you need anything call me okay. and please keep the apartment clean." I said "okay mom." Joran said "bye guys." they both said bye.

When we got to his car he looked at me "so how about a movie then dinner." he said "yeah that sounds like a good plan." I said a little nervous. "is this your first time on a date?" He asked "Um yeah." I said "Well then I think we should just go out to dinner so we can get to know one another.. for like work so we know our dos and don'ts." he said "okay then." I said smiling.

At the restaurant
"Aw here it is I found this Italian place when I first moved here." Drew said as he parked. I was about to open my door but then Drew grabbed it and shut it "Let me be the gentleman and open the door for you." he got out of the car and went around and opened the door. "my lady." he says "why thank you." I get out of the car.

When we went inside and Drew went up and said we had a reservation. The girl he was talking to was basically raping him with her eyes. "Let me seat you." she grabbed a menu "Mam you have a mistake I need to menus one for me and my date." he grabbed my hand and pulled me close to him. "Oh." she said "Well in that case let me get two." the gum smacking blond said grabbing another one and rolling her eyes. "here ya go a booth for two." She said setting down the menus. we sat across from each other. "So I already has our night planed out for your birthday so I already has stuff preordered." he said "That's fine." I said smiling putting the menu aside "So when did you move here Drew?" I asked "About three months ago. You?" "Same." I say smiling "So why did you want to work at the café?" I asked "Well I was just walking and then I saw it said help wanted there so I thought hey why not?" He said "Tell me about yourself Kate." he asked "Well what's there to tell I mean I lost a years worth of my memor" I looked at him he wasn't even paying attention to me I turned around and I saw he was checking out the chick who sat us. a waiter came by with small bucket of melted ice. I grabbed it and poured it on him "Did that grab your attention Andrew?" I say while getting up and leaving the restaurant.

"Kate!" I heard Drew yell out. I kept on walking. "Kate stop." I turned around and he was there right in front of me. "Please I'm sorry." he said grabbing my hand. "Are you? Are you really?" I said he was silent "Thats what I thought.And you where doing really well" I turn around "Wait." he said while grabbing my arm I felt my blood boil "WHAT!" The next thing I knew he rammed his lips on mine i raised my hand to go slap him but then something in me didn't want to. I felt sparks. No. I don't want to feel this way. he was giving me butterflies. he pulled away and looked at me "I'm so sorry." he whispered "I grabbed the collar of his shirt "Shut up and kiss me." I said he leaned in and wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close and kissed me. "How about I take you to my apartment and we can watch movies and I can order a pizza." he suggested I nodded. he picked me up bridal style and took me to the car and we went to his apartment.

Later that night
Wills POV
I looked at the time it was two in the morning and she hasn't called or texted me. Jordan was just as worried as I was "Where do you think she is Will?" He asked "Well do you think I would be worrying about her if I did Jordan." I snapped "Calm down Will dear lord no need to get pissy." he said "Jordan I can get pissed off this guy will probably screw anything that breathes." I said he looked at me "Will then if we care for her that much we need to stop arguing and work together and keep her away from this guy if he's that bad." I looked at Jordan and he did have a point "Kiani?" He stuck his fist out "Kiani." i said while pounding his fist.
