So before we get to Will, I have a question for the people who've read the original chapter 3. Do you still want me to include my OC Nathen? I don't know if I should keep him or not. I have a storyline for both options, so it's up to y'all

Thanks for almost 10k reads!!

Clint shook his head. "No. You need to rest and take it easy. If you try to do anything, especially go to Tartarus you would surely fade away." He glanced over at Nico's sword which was leaning against one of the nearby chairs. "It'll take a few days before you can even think about leaving, and even then, doing something as stupid as traversing Tartarus-"

Nico rolled his eyes as Clint rambled on, "This isn't my first time doing this." He tried to sit up but was hit with a wave of exhaustion and lay back down. "Look, I need to get him back. I've upset someone very powerful and he's going to hurt Will. I have to save him." Nico sighed, knowing this guy isn't going to let him off easily. But he couldn't stay, he had to get Will back before...before...well he wasn't quite sure what exactly would be done to him, but he knew it would be disastrous.

Clint sighed softly. He knew the kid had been through some shit if he was fading this bad, but pissing off something or someone in Tartarus? This kid was in over his head. "Well, you can't do this on your own, it'll definitely kill you." He bit his lip. "Look, I think we can help you. Give yourself a few weeks to heal up and we'll go with you." The kid looked like he wanted to argue, but Clint held up his hand to stop him. "You're in an unstable shape to return to camp, and going to Tartarus by yourself for a rescue mission is a death sentence."

Nico considered his options. On the one hand, he could just shadow travel back to camp when he was feeling a bit better and enlist the help of some of his friends, but that would still require him to wait. Not to mention there are still quite a few people at camp who still don't trust him and returning without Will would only make things worse. Or, he could go by himself to Tartarus, but like this guy said it would be a death sentence. It looked like the only reasonable option would be to have this guy and his allies help. But he didn't want to wait so long. And time moved faster in Tartarus, so by the time he was at full strength, it could have been weeks or even months for Will.

"Fine," Nico said with a huff. "But when I say I'm better, you have to go with it. You don't know my limits, and you're not my dad."

Clint smirked softly, "Sure thing kid."

"My name's Nico. Don't call me a kid again."

"Noted," Clint said with a nod, moving to check the I.V. The kid, Nico, was pretty stubborn, which was always fun to deal with. "You need to stay in here for a few days, then if you want we can put you up in one of the spare rooms." He continued to fidget with some of the medical instruments, trying to keep himself busy as while Nico was silent.

"You're a son of Apollo, right?" Nico asked after a few silent minutes.

"Is it that obvious?" Clint asked in a light tone, trying to break the slight awkwardness.

A ghost of a smile crossed Nico's lips, "Kinda, yeah." He shifted slightly in the bed, starting to feel sleepy.

Clint got up slowly, "Get some rest ki-Nico. We can talk more when you wake back up."He nodded slowly as his eyes drooped as the world went dark.
