Danny's POV. (Time Skip 1 month)

"How are you doing badger?" Vlad asked as he opened the door and shut it behind him. "Well I don't feel anything, so I'm fine." I replied looking up from a book I was reading.

It's been a couple of weeks since the diagnosis and the only person who did get contaminated from me was Sam, she only had the flu so she turned out fine. Vlad had taken some blood examples and recently retested me.

"I have your results and you are all clean." I grinned at the result and stood up, "Finally. I wanna go out." Even though I didn't feel anything Vlad made it an effort to make sure I was well rested and comfortable. Not that I'm complaining.

"I actually wanted to talk to you about something Daniel." I raised an eyebrow and sat back down into the bed, "yea?" Vlad took that as a sign and sat down by my desk.

"Since I fully intend on taking care of all your needs it's finally time little badger." He smirked building the anticipation.

"Time for what?" I wearily asked, since I have fully recuperated I'm perfectly capable of doing things aka studying and possibly training. But I'm not looking forward to the latter, in fact I'm not ready to see Vlad as a teacher, even more so as a father.

"You my dear boy." Cue dramatic pause, "Will be starting school on Monday." He smirked and letting news sink in. I blankly look at him and groaned, "Oh no."

He smiled, "You will be going to a private school, under my name, and-" "WOAH, Hold up. What do you mean under your name?!" I yell at I frantically stood up.

Vlad sighed as if he was expecting my reaction, "Well you can't go to school with the name Daniel Fenton. Your par- Maddie and jack will find you." Vlad stood up and sternly said, "I was serious about keeping you safe, giving you another last name is easy, it's just a matter of money. I'm the eyes of the school I adopted you and your name is, Daniel James Masters." A shiver ran through my spine at the sound of it.

"But before I send you off to school I have to teach you how to be a," he paused to think, "uptight' and 'snobby' rich person. As you would say." He chuckled at my horrified face.

"In this world you cannot use brawn to fight, it would seem idiotic, you have to use your wit and brain. Which you already have. All you really need to do is fix your mannerisms and posture, in the next two days I will teach you basic formality and more. And since you are a fast learner you should get these things right before then." He finished explaining his plans and I stood there silent for a few seconds.

"But what about my jumpy problem." I mumble grabbing my left elbow, "I'm a danger and could hurt someone just because I get scared and startled easily." Vlad walked towards me and put a hand on my shoulder. "That is why I put you in. I want you to get use to never having ghosts around you to startle you. Instead you will be surrounded by kids your age who don't know that ghosts are real."

He lifted the arm off my shoulder and ruffled my hair. "Oh and don't forget that in this school you will be known as 'Vlad Masters adopted son.' Which means that you will have the attention of everyone. Sorry." He smiled evilly and closed the door.

Great. I'm gonna have harder school work AND unwanted popularity for being related to the one and truly Vlad Masters. I rolled my eyes at that one.

*****

For the past two days Vlad had been teaching me how to stand upright, no slouching, chin tilted a little up, one arm behind my back to keep my back straight and in the other will be a case I will be holding to go to school.

He told me the do's and don'ts of talking to someone and most important of all...

"You are now considered a Masters." Vlad told me on the porch of the mansion, he looked me up and down making sure my suit looked perfect, in my chest pocket was a handkerchief with a gold embroidery titled 𝐷.𝑀. I'm my right hand a suitcase. I didn't get why in the hell I should wear a suit to school and most of all why I needed a suitcase.

"Vlad why a suitcase. If anything I could use a book bag." Vlad looked at me with disbelief, "you aren't going to a public school Daniel." I just looked at him clearly not understanding.

"You're going to a private school which has uniform requirements and solely uses technology to teach kids. In the suitcase you have a computer, not a pencil and paper." I looked at him bewildered.

I quickly brought the suitcase up to my face and opened it. There inside was black screen computer and a touchpad to act as a mouse.

"What in the world." I closed the suitcase and looked at him. "Vlad there is no way I can go to a PRIVATE SCHOOL." I yelled starting to get nervous.

"Besides I can RUIN your image if I do something stupid. And what if I HURT someone." Vlad sighed and kneeled to looked at me. "Look Daniel I do care if you somehow managed to ruin my image however I know you aren't that stupid to do so. And if you do hurt someone in accident then I will deal with it as your guardian." He looked at me and pat my shoulder he stood back up and looked down at me with a raised eyebrow. "We really need to fix your height, especially for a sophomore."

I glared at him and sarcastically said "No of course not Vlad, it's not like I've been stuck at 5'4 for 3 years. Congratulations at finding my stunted height at age 16. What the heck does my height have to do with ANYTHING." I gritted our.

Vlad simply laughed, "I can fix it. That's what." I looked at him with glee in my eyes. "REALLY?!" The conversation cut short when a limousine pulled up and out came a lady with black dress pants a white collared shirt and a black suit jacket. She went around the vehicle and opened the door waiting for me to step inside.

Vlad looked at me once more, "Remember Daniel. You are now a masters and will now act like one, I don't care if you disagree but for the school you must. You are at the top." I nodded at Vlad and walked to the lady.

She took my suitcase as I got in and handed it back to me, "My name is Marceline." She started as I took my suitcase back from her. "Thank you Marceline."

Another lesson I was taught, "Always remember peoples names, it's disrespectful if you don't, especially when surrounded by people who think they're more important than you."

Vlad walked up to the car as if he forgot something. He knocked on the window and I rolled it down.

"Here, just in case you need it." He handed me a brand new wallet and said. "Have a good day at school." He smirked and turned away walking up the stairs and into his mansion.

I rolled the window back up and took a peek inside. Inside was a wad of a hundred dollars and a credit card. My eyes grew wide and shook my head in disbelief.
