Regina and I had just adopted a furry, black and white kitten and were on our way back to her house. Thankfully, she had a curly black wig that she rarely used lying around that I could use so that I do not get recognized.

We got off the bus and was walking down the quiet road, when I felt as if something was wrong. Although we were the only people out, I felt as if there were eyes on me. Maybe I was just being paranoid, but I always trusted my gut feeling.

"Something wrong?" Regina asked, when she noticed that I was not walking alongside her.

"Oh, no," I said, still looking around, before jogging up besides her. We then continued on our way in silence.

When we arrived back at the house, we added in the new furniture for the cat. Then we both cooed over the new kitten while trying to come up with a new name for him.

"How about Fish," I giggled. "Nothing sounds better than a cat named Fish."

Regina shook her head while laughing. "Definitely won't name him that. I think I'll just call him Salem. Its much better than your animal names."

"True," I laughed.

When we had finally managed to pull ourselves from the now sleeping kitten, I went to water the plants outside while Regina resumed working on her books.

A few hours had passed by and Regina was still typing away, leaving me to read a book.

Just as I was beginning to enjoy the book, there was a knock on the door. Regina signaled with her hand for me to answer the door, seeing as she was probably getting some very good ideas for her story.

Not knowing what to expect, I went to answer the door.

"Hello, I was told flowers were sold here." The voice was deep and belonged to a tall, dark skin man who was very muscular. What really surprised me, was the fact that he was wearing a black and white suit.

My eyes widened as it clicked. It looks like they had found me.

"Ah, yes," I said, deciding to go along with it and hoping that my thoughts were wrong. "Is there any specific flower that you have in mind?"

The man peeped through the door before replying. "Well, it's a very rare flower but I'm sure you've heard of it. It's very tricky to get a hold of and I think its name is Latvia," he said, a smirk appearing on his face as I took a step back.

Looking behind me, I saw that Regina was not paying any attention to us. "Why don't I just come with you and let's not make things messy," I said, hoping he would comply. I did not want to get Regina entangled into this kind of life.

"Sorry to disappoint, but that's not my style." He roughly grabbed my arm causing me to cry out in pain.

It did not take long for Regina to leave what she was doing and run to the door.

"Hey, leave her alone!" She yelled, jumping on the man's back. He's grip on my hand loosened, so I took that opportunity to yank my hand free before kicking him in his gut. Regina, however, was punching him in his back.

Out of nowhere, two more men came to assist the other man. One of them pulled Regina off of the other man, while the other one was trying to catch me.

I rushed at the man blocking my way head first, knocking him to the ground. I then got on top of him and threw a few punches at his chest. He had managed to grab one of my hands but I bit his neck causing him to let go.

Looking over to the side, I saw Regina's unconscious body hanging from the guy's shoulder. When my body was suddenly turned over, my attention was now back to the man that I was now under.

He took hold of both my hands, leaving me pinned beneath him. Not knowing what to do, I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled his body onto mine. Now that there was no longer a gap between our bodies, I once again bit into his neck in the same spot as before.

The man rolled off of me while shouting out in pain. Blood was seeping out of his bite wound as he placed his hand over his neck.

"You little bitch!" He yelled out, as the two other men were now looking at me. Since one of them was holding Regina, he was not able to come after me. That left the first guy who knocked at the door.

Looking around for something use, I saw a stone lying on the side of the road. Rushing over to it, I quickly bent down to pick it up.

The man was stupid enough to hover over me, making it easy to slam the stone into his belly. I was not trying to kill anyone, so I deliberately did not slam it into his head. I did not need any more nightmares than the ones I already have.

Now, there was only one man left. As I was running towards him, I felt something prick my back. Suddenly, I felt a bit tired and my body was no longer moving as quickly as before. My head was spinning and it was getting more and more difficult for me to stand up straight as time passed by.

Before I knew it, I fell down and my world went black.
