Movie Night

I loved watching movies, so much so, that once every New Year my family and I would binge watch any movie we suggested in a suggestion box we used, but that's a family tradition between me and my dad. Sighing to myself I place my drawing pencil down and look out the window I'm getting distracted I thought sitting up from my bed maybe I should text the girls and just see what their answers are pulling out my phone and tapping on the message app,

Y/N hey guys do you want to have a movie night?
Tabbes movie night? Can I pick the movie? What are we even supposed to bring?
Ginja hell yes!!! MOVIE NIGHT!!!
Emily that sounds fun, when do you want to have one?
    Giggling to myself I type out how about tonight? And yes Tabbes you can bring the movie, but not anything to scary! Nah she's gonna bring horror movies, wait I forgot to mention about the snacks before I can type out the important part I see that Emily is able to bring the snacks with Ginja also volunteering to bring snacks as well these two, always beating me to the punch I smile to myself, "well time to go prepare the backyard for the guests," I head out my room and go down stairs with my dad in the living room watching tv, "hey dad! I invited some of my friends over for a movie night so I'm going to be borrowing the backyard, is that okay with you?!!" I yell out grabbing a couple of blankets from the closet next to the front door closing it with my foot, "yeah sweetie that's okay with- wait you got friends?" I almost dropped the blankets from that comment he made, "of course I got friends it was when I almost broke my ankle and had to be on crutches for a couple of weeks!!" I yell at him disappearing into the back placing the blankets on a table and going back inside to get some more blankets upstairs, "those were a rough couple of weeks gotta admit that, but I didn't know that you got friends from you suffering with how to use the crutches," I smack my forehead going up the steps, "well at first I thought they were just being polite but eventually we just started eating together and studying together at school! But they are good for me they got me to get out of my shell a bit, I even sang in front of the whole school!!!" Coming down stairs with my body pillow and others in hand I stopped in my tracks looking at my dad smiling from the memory.
    "All done!" Clapping my hands together I look at my work feeling proud, "now to put up the sheet," I heard my dad yell out, "sweet heart! Your friends are here!" "I'm in the back dad!!" Turning my head I see Emily and Ginja with a boat load of snacks and Tabbes with several movies in her hand, "let the movie watching commence!"

Daidus P.O.V
Why didn't I get her number when I had the chance!! Throwing my phone on the bed I sigh in annoyance looking out the window, "you dumb idiot, you were to love struck to even think up the words to ask," I lean on the window sill rubbing my hair in more annoyance wait love struck? Damnit! Y/N what have you done to me? Looking out the window I chuckle to myself now I really want to get back at her for being 1) to cute and 2) for kissing my cheek rubbing my chin in thought I notice small fairy lights from across the street, "huh wonder what's going on over there?" Then the realization hit me, that's where Y/N lives, maybe I should go over there? No no no, what would I even do if I'm over there? Just looking at her will make me recall the other day mentally battling myself to whether visit the vixen making my heart beat or not is hurting my brain too much, "what the hell would I even say to her? Oh, fuck it!" grabbing my jacket and phone I leave my room closing it behind me.

Is it normal to feel this nervous just from standing at a door!? I knock placing my hands in my pockets Calm down me it's just a girl, a girl whom has been extra confident and even got you to blush to almost the entire school, fuck I can't do this maybe if I just run now maybe I can avoid- "may I help you?" Before I can think of an escape a rather tall and scary looking man stood at the door with his hands crossed in front of his chest this is probably her dad, "u-umm I'm here to see your daughter s-sir," shit stop stuttering!! "Who's at the door dad!" "Some young man that wishes to see you sweetie," the older man moved away from the door to reveal Y/N with her friends in the back, "oh! Dad this is just one of my classmates Daidus he is also a really good friend of mine," ugh that hurt my pride I hold up a hand, "hey L/N," better not say any of her nicknames I've given her or else I might die at the hands of her dad, "well you can come in me and my friends were just watching movies in the backyard, if you want you can join us if you like," well this gives me a good opportunity to talk to her about what she did to me, "sure movies sounds awesome."
Normal P.O.V
Guiding Daidus outside and her friends looking at the both of them made Y/N feel a bit awkward to say the least, but guess that just happens when you kissed your crush on the cheek. "So mr. baseball-star what the hell are you doing here?" Tabbes asked crossing her arms in front of her sitting on a bean bag chair she brought over, didn't think she would be asking the million dollar question here all the girls thought at the same time. Y/N held up her hands while smiling, "I think the more the merrier," the young teen wanted nothing less than to spend her weekend with her friends and possible her crush but this was a surprise for her to see him here..in her backyard...at her house, she should really start acting like a good host now! "D-Daidus! I'm sorry I forgot to ask if you wanted anything ," Y/N scratched the back of her head in embarrassment, "umm, a water is just fine," "alright I'll be back with that anyone else need anything before I go?" "Soda!/water as well/soda for me to!" she hears the voices of her friends. "Okay I'll be back guys." Y/N left to go back inside the house not knowing the many stares that the unwanted guest was getting.
Daidus P.O.V
"So mr. hot shot what are you really doing here?" I turned my head to the one girl that's been asking me questions since I got here, "w-well I saw that there was lights over by L/Ns house so I just wanted to come by and check it out," turning my head away that's about half true thinking to myself I half smile, "I don't really believe that, did you come here to confess your love to Y/N or something?" Crap "n-no why would I do that?" "Well she technically confessed her feelings to you at the talent show with that song, or were you just to stupid to even notice it?" Ugh, that hurt my ego "hey I'm not that dumb to not notice her feelings I just don't know how I feel about her," I sigh sitting down on a bench, "well how do you feel about her?" Another girl with black hair asked sits next to me, "well at first I just liked the way she looked when I teased her, then as time went on and the more I spent hang out with her just a single glance her way makes me really happy yet at the same time my stomach gets all weird when I'm around her." "Dude! Your in love with her!" the girl with ginger hair yelled out eating the popcorn bowl while continuing to watch the movie love? No no no I'm to much of a dumb dumb for that "love? Psh I don't think I am, it must be something else," I deny their accusations. "C'mon man its so obvious that it is love, it makes more sense since it correlates with how your feeling with Y/N if your so unsure then you should kiss her," the ginger insisted having my stomach fill with butterflies at the thought. "Monkey! You shouldn't pressure him into doing that just because he is unsure of how he feels, don't listen to her the best advice I can give you is just listen to your heart and go with your instinct," the girl said smiling and stood up and went back to her seat. Listen to my heart, huh?
Normal P.O.V
    "Guys I'm back!!" The H/C haired teen announced with a tray in her hands closing the door behind her, "come get your drinks!" Yelling she placed the tray down at the table that Daidus was sitting at and placed his drink in front of him, "here you go, are you going to be staying a little longer?" Y/N asked and sits next to him with her drink in hand, "N/N!!! Can I put the next movie in?" Emily asked walking up to the projector with her movie in hand, "sure! Go ahead!" She yelled out then placing a hand on her crushes hand, "please stay, at least for this movie," she looked up at him with a small smile making the boys heart beat and moving his head away from her view, "y-yeah I'll stay." Best movie night ever! Y/N screamed to herself leaning her head on Daidus's shoulder and both teens enjoying the company of one another and the movie.

I'm so sorry!!! I meant to publish this story last week, but time got the best of me and I kept putting it off 😅😅
