As i walked back over to my friends with my food on my plate i could see that everyone was wearing a jacket, their imprints on the back were a serpent in a circle and hissing above it said Serpent in black bold writing in a white box which curved under the image of the snake. Whereas mine was a serpents head hissing at the top and the body instead of ending with the tail, it was the head again with the word Serpent in bold on the back. Everyone kept staring and with whispers errupting around me i could hear the words 'Serpent queen'.
I looked over for Vanessa's table and saw them all quietly having a heated argument. I made my way over when Harry, Rachel, Crystal, Andy and Josh all got up and gave me dirty looks while barging past me. I sat down when Simon Slammed his hands down on the taboe and yelled at the top of his voice "SHE'S ONLY HALF A SERPENT SHE DIDN'T DO THE FULL INITIATION!" he looked at me and spat the stormed off. I looked around and Tobi left with Missy so it only left Vanessa, Manny and me, i looked down at my burger and fries not daring to ask what happend since i was new and this could be old drama that i wasnt involved in.
"Y/n" Vanessa said "i know that your new but thosw guys arent usually like that their angry" i looked up after picking at my food, i moved my silver hair swayed in front of my face like a curtain to see the girl and to acknowledge her. "Its fine ness i get it im new and im the talk but can you guys tell me what 'half a serpent' is and what the 'serpent queen' is?"
"told you" manny stated "everyones talking and shes not dumb after the fiasco that lot just pulled no wonder shes asking" i continued to eat while staring expectedly at them "well" i said "if you guys are coming into my house and school i expect all honesty." i finished my chips when Cody came over. He sat down in front of me amd motioned for the others to go "i'll tell her it's only right" he spoke Manny nodded "see ya Y/n" he said then he and Vanessa left us. It was just me amd Cody
i made a start on my burger and wow it was good I stopped since i got full and started to drink my Chocolate milkshake. I looked up at Cody who was eating his fries with what i assumed was left over pizza crust and a chocolate milkshake. His eyes were a greenish brown which in certain lighting made them look black or even blue, he wore a black flannel around his waist with black jeans and suspenders hanging below. His shoes wore boot like so i guessed he rode a motorbike he also wore his leather serpent jacket like mine and had a white top on under the jacket, his style was most certainly unique what with his black hair quiffed to left scruffily with his beanie which had been cut into a shape of a crown. His facial features were so define like he was made out of porceline, his skin wasnt pale it was more tanned like a perfect tan, his cheek bones werent so define but you could tell he had good structure. His lips looked so chapped but soft as if they had a big story to tell, his nose was built so that it was straight all along the bridge. I wasnt going to lie to myself and say that he wasnt good looking but those cheek bones, his eyes his whole body and distancing persona made it very difficult to not find his attractive.
He waved his hand in front of my face when i realized that i was staring "sorry daydreaming, my bad" i said nervously wait a minute im never nervous oh god please dont tell me ive fallen in love with a guy that i just met. oh god y/n
"So ive come here to tell you about the initiations everyone has needed to face when joining the dance, well i say dance i mean its more of a club we do many things" his voice so harsh but nice. "we all had to do certain things for example there are a few initiation tests that you need to go through before you join the Serpents" i nod while looking at him dreamily.
he waved his hand in front of my face and i snapped out of my day dream "yes yes im listening what are these initiations?" i ask "i got a jacket dont i?"
"yes but that doesnt make you a full serpant, you did the dance now are you ready for the rest" he said "because once you go through with this theres no turning back and those of us moving to become part of the dark lord followers have done these and are making sacrifices, so my question is y/n are you ready to take on these roles"
