Y/n POV:

We finally reached the bridge as we all got off.

Frodo offered me his hand to take but I jumped off not grabbing his hand. Instead walking past him.

"Everyone alright," Frodo asked the group. Everyone mumbled words of agreement. I stayed silent not really knowing what to say.

We all headed for the road. I stayed distant from the group still lost in my own thoughts.

I felt a gentle grip on my wrist as Frodo pulled me aside.

"Hey....you alright," Frodo asks as he gently held both my hands in his.

I looked down and nodded.

"no really?" Frodo sighed. I shot my head up and looked at him. Pulling my hands away from him.

"What the hell do you think Frodo!? We just got chased by a menacing looking stranger! I'm cold, I'm hungry, I'm tired! My head hurts, and my entire body is shaking with this fear feeling I have never felt before! This whole thing has me wanting to go home," I snapped feeling tears threatening to spill down my face. I turned away and quickly started walking so Frodo didnt see as I let tears fall down my face, stinging my cheek. As I pulled up my hood.

I regret snapping at Frodo. I just couldn't help it. the words just spilled out of my mouth. I know it wasn't his fault and I shouldn't take it out on him. I know he was feeling the same thing about this entire thing.

The sky started to cry also as rain fell down slightly heavy.

Can this can any worst. I thought to myself as I sighed.

I kept my eyes fixed infront of me, not really looking around. But keeping my ears open trying to keep myself aware of my surroundings.

A short walk later we came to the gates of Bree.

I stoof next to Sam as he looked over to me.

"You alright miss y/n," He said softly looking over at me.

"Yeah," I gave a simple reply, the words barely coming out in a scratchy whisper. I glanced over at him and gave a weak smile, my nerves finally calming down a bit.

A old face peered out through the peep hole looking at us.

I was soaked from the cold rain which thinking about it made me realize my body has become to shake a bit.

"What do you want?" The gatekeeper asked looking at Frodo.

"We're heading to the prancing pony." Frodo replied loud enough for the man to hear.

The gatekeeper looked at us for a second moving his lantern to look at us better.

"Hobbits! Five Hobbits, what business brings you to Bree," He asks.

"We wish to stay at the inn, our business is our own," Frodo spoke for us.

"All right young sir, I meant no offense, its my job to ask questions after night fall. There's talk of strange folk abroad. Can't be too careful." The gatekeeper said as he stepped aside to let us pass through the gates before closing and locking them behind us.

We make our way through a cobbled path through a crowd. Trying to avoid getting ran over.

I looked at Frodo who had his eyes fixed on a sign which said the prancing pony. I sigh of relief exited my mouth as we walked into the inn.

I looked around noticing how crowded the Inn kinda was. It was noisy and dimly lit. We pulled off our hood. As Frodo walked up to the counter which raised way above his head.
