Y/n POV:

The Fellowship gathered around standing by an archway ready to bid a farewell to Rivendell.

"The Ring Bearer is setting out on the Quest to Mount Doom. On you who travel with him no oath nor bond is laid. To go further than you will." Elrond spoke with authority in his voice.

"Farewell, hold to you purpose. May the blessing sof Elves and Men and all free folk go with you." Elrond added with kindess in his words.

"The fellowship awaits the ring bearer." Gandalf said. I looked over to Frodo. As he turns looking at everyone in the Fellowship. Frodo slowly walked forward, uncertainty in his steps.

"Mordor, gandalf is it left or right?" Frodo whispered softly.

"Left," Gandalf replied back in a hushed voice.

We parted from Rivendell, leaving its people and its beautiful scenery behind.

I took one last look behind me as suddenly I felt so unsure of everything. And what this path will hold.

Aragorn paused and walked over to me.

"You alright," Aragorn asked looking down at me.

I nodded not meeting eye contact with him and met back with the group.

"We must hold this course west of the Misty Mountains for forty days, if our luck holds, the Gap of Rohan will still be open to us. From there our road turns East to Mordor." Gandalf informed everyone.

Gandalf took a seat on a rock that overlooked the group as he smoked from his pipe. Sam cooked over a fire and brought up a finished plate up to a rock and sat next to Frodo. Who was watching spar with both Merry and Pippin. As he tought them the ways of sword fighting.

"Y/n why dont you fight with them, you are a good fighter you know," Frodo looked over at me where I stood leaning up against a rock.

"No I'm fine," I shake my head watching the the small Hobbits and Boromir go back and forth.

"Move your feet," Aragorn instructed as he too was interested.

"Come on, back at the Shire you were always looking for a partner to do that with, now you refuse to take the chance to," Sam laughed looking over at me. I was stuck in a daze looking down to the ground.

"Something else on your mind?' Sam spoke up after I hadn't replied.

"I dont know sam," I spat bitterly as I looked up at him. "Is something else on your mind other then food and watching them play fight," I rolled my eyes as I walked off to a different rock and sat on it.

I took a deep breath and sighed letting the air out of my lungs.

"Ow,"

My head looked over to Boromir and the Hobbits. As Pippin kicks Boromir in the leg as both Merry and Pippin jump on him as they all fall on the ground.

I laughed watching the small Hobbits ontop of Boromir.

"Alright gentlemen, thats enough," Aragorn says walking over to them. Only to be pulled down to the ground with them.

"You all need serious help," I laughed shaking my head at the chaos.

"what is that," Sam asked as his gaze went up to the sky. Looking into the distance.

"Nothing, it's just a whiff of a cloud," Gimli said shrugging off the black mystery in the sky.

"it's moving fast...against the wind," Boromir spoke up as concern flooded to his face.
