Chapter 36

Still Avani's POV

"what's wrong? Nick?" I ask.

"(y/n), they found her but she's unconscious" He says running his hands through his hair

"what?! where?! " Josh yelled

"I dont know man they didnt say but lets go" he said. We all sprint to the beach. In a couple of minutes we arrive. We spot the group of them and run over to them. When we arrive, we see her lying unconscious on the sand. My eyes welled up with tears as I stared at her pale limp body. Nick quickly leans down and cups her face in his hands, moving the hairs off her face. Tears form in his eyes. He starts to do CPR, mouth to mouth but gets interrupted by Chanel. She pulls him off her.

"omg wth Nick! You can't just do that!" she yells. Before he could say anything, Josh speaks up.

"lemme me try, we're siblings anyway" he said. We all just nod. He leans down and starts to do CPR. He tries and tries, but it doesn't work. He starts to cry. "wake up! please...." he said. Everyone started to cry except Chanel. The ambulance comes. They check her health than take her in a stretcher away. Josh goes in with her because he is her brother. I start to break down when they drive away and Ant has to help me calm down. Charli, Addi and Nessa do the same. We all start crying. Nick turned to Chase.

"how did you find her?" he asked

"I was talking with Chanel and she was staring at something. I asked her what was she staring at and she said nothing. We kept on talking but she kept on glancing over there. I asked her one more time and she said nothing. She was really suspicious so I turned and saw someone drowning in the water. It was (y/n)!" he said. I looked shocked. Actually we all did. How could Chanel just watch her drown like that and not say anything! That lil bitch!

"what the fuck! Chanel how could you just watch her drown like that!?" he yelled. She rolled her eyes.

"I don't know why you guys are making such a big deal about it, like who needs her" she said. By then I was furious. I was about to beat her when Ant stopped me.

"a big deal? Are you fucking crazy?! she means the world to everyone here and is an amazing girl who deserves more than she has! How dare you say no one needs her! Without her.. I-I'm n-nothing!" Nick said. He burst into tears. I run up to him and hugged him.

"hey, hey, it's ok. Lets go to the hospital to see if she's ok" I say. He just nods and we catch an uber to the hospital. When we arrive, we wait in the waiting room. 20 minutes later, Josh comes out. His eyes were all red. Nick and I run up to him.

"is she ok?" we both ask

"I don't know, the docter said she might not live because she had a significant loss of blood when she got injured..." he said. 

"were they able to trace her steps? like find out how she ended up like this?" I ask

"yeah, they think she was in the water and a big wave washed her away and that she crashed onto a massive rock, then got pulled back into the water" he replied. We all look at each other  sadly.

"is she free?" Nick asked

"yeah" Josh replied. Nick excuses himself and walked into her room.

Nick's POV

I walk into the room and see her lying in the bed. She was covered in bruises. Tears start appearing in my eyes. Why did this have to happen to her? She was the most kind and loving girl I've ever met. I don't know why I broke up with her. She was drunk and it wasn't her fault. I lean down beside her and take her hand. I start to speak to her, even though she can't hear me.

"h-hey, I h-hope you're ok and I-I miss you" I start to say. Tears start to slip from my eyes and slowly slide down my cheeks. "I-I know you can't hear me right n-now but I want you t-to know that I-I love you and I-I always will" I start to say. "without y-you, I'm nothing, y-you make me be me and I need you. I m-made a huge mistake leaving you and I want you back. I need you b-back. Seeing y-you in this condition hurts my heart b-because you are my other half. You are my meant to be s-soulmate. I love you baby, and I always will." I say. I kiss her on the head and walk out. 

Avani and Josh were waiting. They all come up to me when I come out. Aavani hugs me and says it's going to be ok. I end up staying the night in the hospital with Vani and Josh. We all cried to sleep. I was just praying she would wake up and be ok. If she dies, I die.
