9-year-old Winter Schnee was listening to her mother, Willow, tell stories to her and her 10-year-old friend, Weiss. While Weiss was rich and living with her father, Klein, Winter and her mother were poor, living on the Southern side of Orsus.

Willow is a single mom taking care of Winter and she had a passion for cooking as well as story telling. Her daughter would always be in the kitchen, by her side. She was at the Sieben house reading a story to the girls. Tonight, it was "The Frog Prince".

"Then", Willow said as she was reading the story, "the princess picked up the poor slimy frog." Weiss hugged her dog, Zwei, which had a frog mask on, and Winter was shaking her head.

"She raised it to her lips...and kissed the frog!!", Willow said. Weiss cheered and Winter gagged, knowing how gross it was to kiss a frog.

"But...the frog then turned into a prince and then they both lived happily ever after. The end."

"Yay!!", Weiss cheered, "Read it again, read it again!!"

Willow chuckled. "Now, now, Weiss. Your daddy should be here any minute now, and Winter and I have to get home."

Weiss frowned and Winter and Weiss hugged, saying goodbye.

"I will never do that!! I would never ever ever, I mean EVER kiss a frog, yuck!!", Winter shouted.

"Is that so?", Weiss teased. She grabbed Zwei with his frog mask and shoved him into Winter's face, making it like Zwei was kissing Winter. Willow stopped the two girls and then Klein walked into the room.

"Well, good evening, Miss Schnee. And you too, Winter.", Klein said.

"Hello, Mr. Sieben.", Winter said. Then, Klein's eyes changed color from brown to gold. Klein has different personalities and his eye color changes via personality. Happy is gold, Angry is red, Bashful is pink, Sneezy is teal, Dopey is green, Sleepy is...well...none (cuz his eyes are closed), and Doc is brown.

"Well, Klein", Willow said, "now that you're here, it's time for Winter and I to go. Say goodbye, Winter. Bye, Weiss. Bye, Klein. Have a nice night."

They all said their goodbyes and Willow and Winter left to go to their house.

<Timeskip>

Once they both got home, they whipped up a big pot of gumbo and shared it with the neighborhood. Food, Willow would say, is what brings people together.

That night, Willow and Winter were having a little chat. All her life, Winter had dreamed of making her own restaurant and she made sure that it would be true.

Willow chuckled. "Well, Winter, if you keep wishing, it'll take you only a little bit. But, you gotta work real hard to try and make your dreams come true. Love you, my little snowflake. Good night."

"Night.", Winter replied.

Willow gave her a kiss on her forehead and Winter fell asleep, dreaming about her restaurant and how vibrant her restaurant would be...
