Cassunzel One-Shots

First Kiss

Yellow rocks surrounded them, trapping them in while the demon Zhan Tiri was destroying Corona, having the power of both the Moonstone and the Sundrop.

Rapunzel tried breaking the rocks with her now long brown hair, but it doesn't have the powers that it used to, she didn't have the Sundrop anymore.    "Cassandra, come on, I need your help." The brunette said urgently as she again tried to escape their cage, Cassandra sat down, looking down sadly as she realized what her actions have become.   "Snap out of it Cass, we gotta stop Zhan Tiri before it's too-."

"Too late." Cassandra finished the sentence.  "Raps, look around, we've failed, I've failed."

Rapunzel shook her head.  "No, you can do-."

"I can do anything!." Cassandra exclaimed, tears filling her eyes.   "Why can't you just give up on me? Can't you see what I've done, look around you, this is all my fault. I've done terrible thing." She sighed and went into Rapunzel's arms, Rapunzel wrapped her arms around her.   "All this time, I tried to prove that I was more then everyone thought, but they were right."  Rapunzel's eyes slight widened as tears began to fall down.

"No, Cassandra, no." They hugged tighter, Rapunzel made sure to keep her close.

"Raps, I am so sorry." Cassandra buried her face in Rapunzel's shoulder.

"You know, I was thinking about when we first met." Rapunzel said, after they both released from the hug.   "Do you know, it was nearly three weeks before I heard you laugh for the first time. I guess there wasn't much to laugh about, after being put in charge of a free spirited, flower child, who painted smily faces all over your things." Rapunzel chuckled and Cassandra followed by an softer chuckle.   "But that first laugh was so remarkable, because I knew you meant it."

"What do you mean?." Cassandra asked.

"When you laughed." Rapunzel smiled.  "You has this look in your eyes, I don't know, it was like seeing you, the real you, for the first time. And that's the Cassandra, that I feel in love with."

Cassandra looked up, and at the smiling brunette. She also smiled, and blushed.  "I-I love you too, Raps. I really always have, I've, just never said anything, I was too afraid you wouldn't feel the same way. But, why are you telling me this?."

"Because, even when I look at you now, after all that we've been through, no matter what we have done to each other, I still see that look in your eyes. And I'll always love you, that's why I never and will never give up on you." Rapunzel wrapped her hand around Cassandra's.

They both smiled and looked into each other's eyes. Cassandra slowly began to lean in, she stopped midway when Rapunzel leaned and kissed her. The girls both blushed as their lips touched.

   For some reason I thought they were gonna kiss in this scene. So I made it to where they did.

I thought of this for a while and I'm glad I finally got to write it. So I hope you Cassunzel shippers liked it.
