Chapter 1
I was planning on sleeping in until ten in the morning. However, I had an air horn blown in my face around six-thirty in the morning. The culprit was none other than Omega. The girl was still in her pajamas for crying out loud. She wore a large T-shirt and red pajama bottoms. The indecency of children today.
"Is that Felix the Cat?" I asked, pointing to the cartoon character on her shirt.
"Ryder from PAW Patrol, get a grip grandma," the blonde-haired girl sneered.
How dare she call me old when Omega was probably older than I was due to being a Time Lord! I grabbed the closest blunt object I could find and began chasing her with it! It was dark but we made it downstairs. Shampoo was serving breakfast to a few people and scowled at me as I came down the steps. That's when I realized the "blunt" object was an Uglydoll.
"You see boys, this is what an unqualified employee looks like!" Shampoo said.
"Go get dressed Mela," she added.
"Yes mam' " I said as I went up the steps.
My shift at the Cat Cafe was the worst! Not that the other parts of my day were much better...
