Chapter 15
I stared at my sister who looked like death. What was this thing possessing my sister? I didn't have time to think about it because she made a go at Melascula. She managed to avoid the jab and seemed to realize what this thing was.
"Carnage, you're back," she said quietly.
"So I am," the thing possessing my sister said.
"You're a monster, Melascula," Carnage hissed.
"I already knew that, no need to remind me," she replied.
"You will burn for your faithlessness!" Carnage cried.
"Will you leave this town alone if you kill me?" Melascula pondered.
"You would sacrifice yourself for people you don't know?" Carnage said surprised.
"I would," she told him.
Carnage's liquid form led her out. I was stunned and couldn't speak. She sacrificed herself for the rest of us. I couldn't believe it. She sacrificed herself for us. There was no way this could be the same woman.
"The ghoul is moving, we're doomed!" one of the patrons yelled.
I knew what I had to do now. I went over to Kokoa and bit her.
