The Confession

(Sonics POV)
Tails sat down with me and began talking. "S-Sonic...there's something I need to tell you, remember when I said I couldn't tell you yet yesterday? This is the time I tell you.."Tails said. Someone burst through the door whose name I didn't know yet, but I saw her in the party. "Yes? Who are you?" I asked her. "O-oh yes yes you haven't met me yet! My name is KitKat but call me Kat for short!" She said happily. "Tails why aren't you out at the party? It's a blast out there" Kat said. "Uhh.....Kat? Would you mind leaving us alone? We were talking about something." Tails told her."Oh? Okay then! I'll leave you to it!" Kat leaves the room. "Alright...So....Sonic it's time for me to tell you the truth. Sonic....ever since I met you...I've had butterflies in my stomach. I didn't know what it was at first but after a while I learned what I was feeling. Love...I love you Sonic, I know this might be quite sudden but I needed to tell you soon. If you don't love me back...that's okay...I just need to know how you feel...." Tails told me. I was shocked. I didn't know what to say to him. My crush loved me! I couldn't believe it. "T-Tails...this is a huge surprise....I've never b-been good with words....but now I feel like I've lost the ability speak....I'm so happy....that you love me too!" I said to him. Tails looked the happiest I had ever seen him in my life and that made me happy too. Finally...I've been waiting to tell him....my Kitsune....he loved me the whole time! Tails then pulled me into a kiss and well obviously I kissed back. I enjoyed that... it was so nice but we had to get back to the party. I put my hand on his shoulder then broke the kiss. "Tails we have to get back to the party come on" I said. "Fine..lets go..." Tails said. We bother began walking out and I grabbed Tails's hand. Tails looked at me and smiled. We walked out and everyone seemed to be happy except Kat who looked confused. Tails and I were both really happy. I never wanted this to end. But eventually Tails decided to say "Hey guys do we want me to open the presents yet?" Tails asked everyone. "Yes!" Everyone except Kat yelled.
