WAS IT A BETRAYAL?

What they saw was worth giving goosebumps. They saw Katherine kneeled in front of a tall creature who's face was not visible, he connected himself to her through her very own red eyes and was concentrating on something .That time Katherine's back was visible and Leondre saw a tattoo.
Vivian was very angry, Leondre was too but he was feeling betrayed as well as Katherine was his childhood friend and to think that she would onle deal with the devil himself to kill him was heartbreaking. Vivian seemed to understand the situation and decided to take him to a peaceful place so that he can calm his mind. When Vivian decided to leave that place Leondre shouted, " WAIT,......... ( now softly), I mean could you please stay here. "
Without a word Vivian agreed to sit beside him. Vivian knew he was unhappy and didn't want to make him more sad by making sarcastic comments. At that time Leondre started to speak.
" Isn't it beautiful? Sometimes I think what would it be if this city was like any other normal one, without having the fear of someone killing you, without having to live in shadows. ....... "
This was the first time Vivian had seen him so serious, he was not even that serious during their practice sessions. So she decided to answer him in a calm way, " I know right. But you would not be you without this world. The world that you are talking about is only possible if we work together. We need to trust each other. I don't know about you but I do trust you. You are a great teacher and a great human too, I don't know why you show such personality in front of others. "
Leondre was astonished on her answer and even if he didn't want to admit he felt at peace while talking to Vivian. He decided to answer her one question, " I do trust you and you too are a great student. " He didn't want to answer to her next question and was lucky enough as Tyler found them there while looking for some woods, when he saw both of them there he shouted, " Hey I thought you had been captured, now as you are fine let's go, you also need to prepare dinner as well, ( when he saw Leondre's face)...... I would have never made you work if you were hurt but you both are fine so come on and help me. "
When they reached the camp Vivian decided to tell Tyler about Katherine. It would be an understatement that he was angry, it looked like ge would burst in flames.

Now that Leondre had seen a strong personality in Vivian he seemed ready to show the picture of Vivian's mom to her. He went to her tent and was shy a bit but collecting himself he spoke in a soft voice, " Hey, this was your mom, I stole the picture from Katherine. "

Vivian with tears in her eyes said, " She's so beautiful, I wish she was Alive and here with me. " Intensely looking at the picture she said ," Wait ,she was the one that came in my dreams.

Leonard " Really? Maybe ,it's possible because people who die with powers are not completely diminished , if they don't find peace they enter into another world. I think she's trying to connect to you through your dreams and help you. "
Vivian " She really loved me and sacrificed her life for me." Vivian was sleepy after hours of crying and well Leondre being a nice person he was, decided to be with Vivian so that she does not try to do anything stupid after seeing her mother.
But even before she knew she slept in Leondre's arms , Leondre was confused of what's happening to him. Trying to tell himself that she is his brother's girl and maybe will be gone tomorrow after all this is over, got up and went to his camp. But before he didn't forget to tuck Vivian in her sleeping matress. He started studying the scroll that Katherine gave him . After several hours of carefully interpreting the scroll he came to know that Lucifer was never gonna keep his daughter alive as the ancient priest predicted that Lucifer's life would end by his own child. Keeping these thoughts in mind he went to sleep.

Tyler did not had any power but was good at defence , he had strength and was a good shooter. In the morning both the brothers were practicing  in the jungle and suddenly Leondre heard a sound. They went towards the place from where the sound was coming, it was coming from a cave ,they went inside and saw Katherine in a dying state, she said between heavy breaths ," I knew that you'll come Leondre, the bracelet I gave you connects us , I'm gonna die , I want to apologise for lying to you ,but you see I didn't had a choice.......... "
Leondre was in a state of shock but Tyler having dealt with these conditions quickly carried her and brought her to their camp. Tyler was angry with Katherine for betraying them but that didn't mean that he would let someone die right in front of him.
" What has happened to her." Vivian said as she saw Tyler carrying a hurt Katherine in his arms.
" I will tell you later but I need to stop the bleeding and it would be better if you two stay outside. ", Tyler managed to say before entering his tent.
Vivian saw Leondre who was in a shock and decided to console, " Hey Leo it's alright. I know that she was your childhood friend. But look at bright side she is still alive isn't she? "
" I know that. That is the problem Vivian. I want to feel bad for her but can't why.... Why? I want to cry for her but I can't, tell me why? I want to see her as a friend but can only see a person who betrayed you and who hurt you. "
Vivian was shocked as she had not expected Leondre to know about the fight that happened between Katherine and her.
" Shocked how I know about that? You went silent that day, you didn't respond to my sarcastic remarks and you were scared of her. "
Vivian had not thought that he cares that much about her to even notice such things.
" Two days after the incident of demons attacking us, she had attacked me for taking you away from her. That sight was horrible, the way she got converted to something else. But I was scared of something else of the thing that controlled her. It didn't look like she was herself. " Vivian decided to tell him the truth.
" Then why didn't you tell me Vivian? "
" Why would I Leondre, why would I tell this thing to someone who doesn't care for me. And if you are talking about the possession thing I was still not sure."
