REGRETS AND CONFESSIONS

Vivian had gone to sleep with a desire of having a peaceful sleep. But she met with the worst person of her life in her dream, a place where he was the least intended to meet Vivian. Vivian was hiding something from the other friends about the conversation she had with her so called father. The place where she was supposed to leave all the reality behind became a place where she had to face the harsh reality. She began to remember the words said by her father, ' You think you can escape this palace? If you do so you are very wrong. Even if you escape this place one time remember you have to return one time or the other. Your destiny is this place, you are the princess Vivian, my daughter. Try to deny it as much as you want but in the end you too are aware of this reality. Why not die alone Vivian? Why take your friends lives' with you? You too know it Vivian that you are no match to me. Don't say you believe that you are the one destined to kill me! Take your time Vivian it's never too late. But in your case you only have time till tommorow, decide you want to get killed yourself or you are selfish enough to take them with you?'
These lines of Lucifer was followed by the display of dead of nine other than her friends and one very precious whom she had grown to like.

After this she woke up with a jerk. She was traumatised after seeing her friends dead. She didn't want to believe that she was selfish but her inner self was way too eager to make her face herself.
She began thinking, ' Isn't Lucifer right? I have only being a problem from the start. I was the reason that all of these people were brought into this problem. Tyler was captured as a bait to capture me. Leondre had to face those demons only because of me. Katherine was killed because she wanted to help us. All fault is mine................what if..........I never existed.........Leondre and Tyler will be with their family ........... Katherine would be alive and would be with her sister as she no longer had to used as a bet against her sister who was supposed to catch Vivian.............all was her own, Vivian's fault and if she did die then no one would have to die. All would live and would not have to face their death.'

Of course after such a nightmare no one would feel sleepy, Vivian went out, thought that stargazing could make her feel better .
Leondre, who was so desparate to kill Lucifer ,as he tried to harm his family was too becoming insomniac .
So when Vivian went out she saw him. She causally went and stood beside him. After a long silence, Leondre finally started the conversation, "So,why aren't u asleep?"
Vivian who had  made up her mind for the sacrifice said, " Well, tomorrow we finally gonna finish Lucifer , excitement haha". Lying to everyone, Vivian, was keeping a big secret ,her own plan for tomorrow. She could never hurt her friends.
On the other hand Leondre was suspicious of something going on in Vivian's mind, so he and Tyler had made some alterations in the plan .
Rosaline had dream / vision of Lucifer celebrating his victory ,a big dinner table where several dead bodies were lying. She told this to Tyler. They were afraid as Rosaline and Katherine always had correct predictions .
In the morning , everyone were very focused ,today was fullmoon, either they win or lose, there was no turning point. Tyler, Rosaline, Vivian were discussing the blueprint of the palace, Leondre was missing, trying to figure out what Vivian is hiding.
While discussing the blueprint, Vivian mentioned to all about weird stick with amber on its top,that Lucifer was holding on that day. While she was telling about it Leondre was back ,first he got scoldings from all for being late and then Rosaline said," I think I may know something about that. Its the oximentra, Katherine told me once about it,its a device to store powers."
Leondre, " From my interpretation of this , I think Lucifer already had so much power, he is unable to store within himself,sl so he stores that in that oximentra."
Tyler," That must  also have some limits to hold powers like you all, are you thinking the same as me bro?"
Leondre," Yeah, so we fill it with so much powers,that it breaks itself."
Rosaline " its not that easy ,its has a very high capacity"

Lucifer was confident as in both the ways he had secured his victory ,but for precautions he had kidnapped Tyler and Leondre's parents.
Vivian was ready for the future that she had chosen for herself. The only thing was the time, she was waiting for the correct time so that she can go away from her friends and surrender herself. The required timing did come when her friends decided to rest for a while and discuss the plan again so that no mistake would be done. Vivian had decided to run away while saying that she wanted some time for herself.
" I'm sorry.......I had to lie to you but believe me it's all for your benifit. I can't see you all die beacuse of me." Vivian said to no one in particular but herself.

After 30 minutes had gone by and Vivian still didn't return the three of them became worried. Tyler and Leondre went to find her but couldn't do so. When they returned and told it to Rosaline she had her eyes wide in horror.
" Do you know what has happened to her?" Tyler decided to ask. On the other hand Leondre was way too worried for her that he found himself unable to talk and just wanted to find Vivian.
" Yes I do.............. Don't you remember this morning?" Rosaline said.

That morning Vivian decided to talk to all of them one by one. She knew she wouldn't see them again and wanted to say a goodbye to them so atleast she could die with peace and not restlessness.
The first person she went to see was Rosaline. She was wide awake at that time with a picture of her sister in her hand.
" Hey Rose. Mind if I join?"
" Hey...............I was a fool wasn't I?"
" No...........( When she saw Rosaline giving her the expression to continue she did so.) I don't think so that you were a fool."
" But wasn't I the one who doubted her who doubted her own sister. I am no family to her she didn't deserve to die. I was the one who should have been in her place." By now Rosaline was crying on Vivian's shoulder, she didn't mind tho.
" Stop talking like that. Even you know that your sister would not be happy if she saw you crying like this and asking for death when she clearly wanted to protect you. You can't let her sacrifice go in vain. She was a beautiful person. She always carried a strong aura around her and I believe she would want you to be strong and move on. Remember she will always be there for you and we are always with you so don't feel lonely." Vivian ended her words with a smile on her face which made Rosaline smile and she was thankful for having a caring person as her friend.

Then Vivian decided to go to Tyler as she knew Leondre would still be sleeping.
" Hey Tyler, can I come in?" Vivian asked when she saw the latter busy with polishing a sword.
" Ofcourse, you didn't need to ask."
" So what are you doing?"
" Why lie Vivian? I know you were here for something else. So why not tell the truth?"
" I......um.......just wanted to say thank you and sorry._
" Why these words? Isn't there an unspoken rule between friends to never say thank you or sorry?"
" I don't believe in that rule if you think that the other deserves a thank you or sorry then you should not be afraid.................I wanted to say thank you for saving me, feeding me, helping me, coming with me and all the things you have done for me.............and I'm sorry for not being able to return the feelings you had for me. I honestly wanted to but couldn't. You deserve much more than me. A person who can care about you and just not about herself."
" I will always protect you as you are the first person I ever loved and taught me that love can't always be both sided. I honestly am happy for you and Leondre. You both will make a sweet couple...........you didn't have to say sorry. You can't control the way your heart works..........and I did understand it that you definitely liked him. Also, if you were not there how could I've met Rosaline................" It was followed by a silence, not an uncomfortable one but one with understanding and love, not as lovers but genuine love that a friend shares for the other. Tyler was broken free from the chains of infatuation that he called love. In the journey he had understood that the thing he had for Vivian was not love but pure admiration of her character.
At last Vivian decided to break the silence, not because it was becoming uncomfortable but she wanted to meet Leondre as well.
" Alright, I shall go." She said
As she was going to leave his tent he said, " Go tell him." She did understood it and gave a thumbs up.

At last she had to talk to Leondre but she was finding it much more difficult to go and meet him as compared to others. At last after gathering courage she went to find him and she found him sleeping under a tree. As she was gazing at him he suddenly spoke, " Are you just going to stare air want to say something?"
" Woah......you shocked me." Vivian said while placing a hand dramatically in her chest where the resided.
" So wanna say anything?.........."this time he said it a little softer.
" Yeah ..........wanted to say thank you."
" Why?" He asked while raising one of  his eyebrows.
" Thank you for teaching me how to control my powers. Thank you for always being there for me..............you think I never knew who helped me with the wound that I got by leaving an antidote beside the place where I slept...........I always noticed those small yet caring things that you did for me. You think that being cold from outside makes you stronger but it does not. Remember Leo showing someone that is not you does no affect others, it affects you. You forget who you are. So stop showing that side that you obviously don't possess.............."
She then saw him having his head down as if thinking deeply about something but as he never interrupted her she decided to continue and also confess what she felt for him.
"...........you possess a very beautiful personality. Don't let your fake you kill your real you. I didn't fell for a person that you show who you are but the one that you always try to hide but can't do so because you naturally possess the personality of helping others." She then waited for his answer but when it never came she decided to go back.
" Wait won't you hear me out?"
