Chapter 10- Piano Notes

A/N sorry this is such a short chapter!! Next one will defiantly be longer tho ;) The Piano version of  the song Kayloni plays up top!!!

 I do my final pose for the random dance I did before going to unplug my phone. I exit the studio before my eyes connect with the open door of the music room. Looking around I slip into the room and walk over to the piano. The piano was the first instrument I ever learned how to play. The classic instrument was smooth under my fingers as I traced the black and white keys. I lightly pressed my fingers to the keys of a song that I learned just a week ago. The sound filled the room as I hummed along to the song. "Our minds have new eyes and visions of you. Girl, I think I need a minute. To figure out what is what isn't." I sing softly.

 I hum until the chorus comes. "Who are you? 'Cause you're not the girl I fell in love with, baby. Who are you? 'Cause something has changed, you're not the same, I hate it."

 The piano picked up as I got a little louder. "Oh, I'm sick of waiting for love, love. Oh, I know that you're not the one, one."

 I continue singing and playing till the song comes to an end. I let the last note fade out as I slowly remove my fingers. "Wow."

 I let out a screech and almost fell off the wooden bench as I turned to the voice in the doorway. "Oh my god! Don't do that! You gave me a heart attack!" I shout.

 Kyler still looks starstruck as he shrugs. "You were in your own little world as usual anyways. But I didn't know you played. Or sang."

 I shrug. "It's not something I just tell people."

 "I get that. If your brother didn't overhear me singing in the locker room, I wouldn't be sitting here right now. How long have you been playing?"

 I raise an eyebrow. "Is that your 4th question?"

 He chuckles. "I guess so."

 "I learned piano first. I was 5. The acoustic guitar at 7, electric at 8, bass at 8 too and drums at 10."

 "Wow."

 "Why were you singing in the locker room?"

 His cheeks turn a light shade of red as he looks to the side. "I thought I was alone. I had detention so I was cleaning the boys locker room."

 I let out a small giggle which he glares at. He looks around the room with his hands in his hoodie pocket. He wore a black Nike hoodie with grey joggers and white vans. His silver dog tag shone in the light and a black snapback covered his curls. "Favorite instrument to play?"

 "Can't decide between piano or acoustic."

 He nods shifting his eyes to look at me. "How many instruments do you play?" I question.

 "3. Piano, electric and acoustic."

 I nod. "Yo! What's up Ky! Hey Kay." Knox smiles walking into the room.

 I tear my eyes away from Kyler's to greet my friend with a hug. "Hey Twin 1."

 Kale walks in and pats my head in a gentle manner. "Twin 2."

 "Har har. Very funny." He teases.

 Quinn comes in last with his song book in his hands and a pencil hanging out the corner of his mouth. "I'll leave you guys to practice. I need to shower anyway." I claim heading to the door giving Quinn a playful shove on my way.

 "Bye Loo."

 "See ya Kay!"

 "Bye."

 "Later Kitten."

 I turn and wave at the boys closing the door behind me.

Chapter 10 is here!! I was so excited to post this! We really get an outlook on the relationship between Kyler and Kayloni! Also a part of her secret is out in the open!! The next few chapters were some of my favorites to write! Hope you all enjoy don't forget to vote and comment! It really motivates me!
