Chapter 28

MATILDA´s POV

Oscar and I were on our way to the grocery store. We were just walking there side by side. It was still really early so there weren´t too many people out on the street.

“So... Do you wanna...” Oscar started stuttering.

I looked at him and smiled to encourage him.

He took a breath and said “Do you wanna go out? I mean... with me?”

I felt how my legs turned into jelly. I was almost not able to walk anymore but I tried not to show it. My mind was empty. I wanted to say something but I wasn´t able to talk. I just blushed really red.

“Oh if you don´t want to... That´s really no problem...” Now Oscar looked disappointed.

Finally my mind turned on again and I was able to talk.

“No no no no!!” I said quickly. “I would love to go out with you some time.”

Oscar looked at me and smiled. But not his usual cute smile. It was more like a “the child in the candy store” kinda smile.

We kept on walking until we arrived at the grocery store.

“So since I´m not a baker you have to tell me what we need.” Oscar poked me.

“Eeehm okay... Let´s see.”

We slowly walked through the store searching for the things we needed. When we found it all we went back to school.

We bought stuff for 4 different kinds of cupcakes. Strawberry ones, Oreo ones, Vanilla ones and of course Chocolate Chip ones.

We walked into the school kitchen and found all 5 of our friends laying on the ground laughing their asses off.

Oscar and I looked at each other.

“What´s so funny guys?” Oscar asked what made the others laugh even more and louder.

“Okay this is weird...” I said while putting the groceries on the counter.

Finally OG stopped laughing and came over to help me.

“Sorry you just missed the best conversation ever.” He said with tears in his eyes.

“Can you please just tell us what the heck happened?” Now Oscar came over too.

“We were talking about how Foscar is dead because of Felix and Lu.” OG said and my jaw dropped.

“Wait!” I screamed. “Felix and LU????”

“Matilda quiet!” Felix looked shocked. “It´s not official...”

I pressed my hand on my mouth. I was in shock. But like happy... I stared alternately to Lu and Felix.

FELIX´ POV

Shiiiiit... Hopefully no one heard her screaming...

“Matilda quiet! It´s not official...” I looked at her.

Lu looked pretty much as shocked as I did.

“Matilda it´s really important that you won´t tell someone!!” Lu walked over to her looking really serious.

Matilda calmed down. “Yeah...” She stuttered. “Of course. I promise... But Lu, why haven´t you told me?”

Lu rolled her eyes. “Long story...”

Omar walked over to them. “Guys we don´t have time for stories now! We have work to do!!”

“Yes exactly!” I walked over to Julia and she gave me a bowl.

I held the bowl in my hands and I really wanted to work but to be honest I had no idea of baking...

“Okay girls...” I said really confused. “I could use some help over here.”

Oscar and Matilda started making the Strawberry Cupcakes while OG and Julia chose the Oreo ones. Lu came over to me and gave me the recipe for the Vanilla Cupcakes.

“Okay Sandy. You´ll work on the pastry and I´ll work on the icing.” She gave me some eggs and flour and turned away.

“Wait!” I said. “I have no idea how to bake...”

“Seriously Bro?” Ozzy looked at me smirking. “Everyone knows how to bake! That´s what chicks want.” He winked.

“Ya ya ya, really funny...” I said rolling my eyes.

All of us were baking and working on some like Lu would say it “CUUUUUTE” cupcakes. Well actually not all of us. Omar was just jumping around the room tasting all of the icings.

“Omar stop it!” Lu was annoyed.

Omar just put his finger in the bowl again. “Make me.” He snipped.

All I remember happening afterwards was flour flying around. Then there was an Omar with a grey leopard print shirt instead of a black one.

“Lu I think you shouldn´t have done that...” I slowly said.

Omar looked down on his shirt. In the next moment he grabbed the flour and threw it on Lu who started screaming.

“Okay!” She screamed. “Now you are dead!” She jumped over the counter and ran after Omar who screamed “FOOOOOOD FIIIIIGHT!” He grabbed an egg and threw it behind his back. Unfortunately it didn´t hit Lu but Ozzy. Oscar just grabbed a bottle of milk and threw it in Omar´s direction but it hit the wall and bursted right next to Julia. Lu in the same time grabbed Omar and put his head into the pastry bowl. When he looked up again his whole face was covered in it.

OG had to laugh so hard that he slipped in the spilled milk and fell into a pile of flour on the floor. The only clean ones were Matilda and I. Until...
