Yellow-Eyes flicked his arm, and the three of us flew apart. Like in Salvation, I found myself pinned to the wall, immobilized and vulnerable. The Colt clattered to the ground as it was knocked from Dean's hand.

Sam and Dean grunted and panted as they fought against the demon's hold with no success. I struggled to keep myself in the present, memories of fire and blood and evil yellow eyes threatening to pull me under.

With us powerless to stop him, Yellow-Eyes picked up the Colt. He sighed, "What a pain in the ass this thing's been."

It was wrong, hearing the demon speak in John's voice. After spending our whole lives dedicated to hunting this demon, John's possession was like a punch to the throat.

"It's you, isn't it?" Sam asked. The demon simply smiled at him, his yellow eyes gleaming. Sam growled. "We've been looking for you for a long time."

"Well, you found me," the demon said.

"But the holy water?" Sam was trembling with rage and fear.

The demon huffed. "You think something like that works on something like me?"

That answer seemed to enrage Sam even further. He fought against the demon's power, managing to lift his head a few inches away from the wall before quickly being overwhelmed again. He grunted angrily, eyes glistening with angry tears. "I'm gonna kill you!"

The demon was unfazed. "Oh, that would be a neat trick. In fact, here--" he set the Colt down on the table in front of Sam, "--Make the gun float to you there, psychic boy."

His tone was mocking, even as his eyes watched Sam intently. Sam stared at the gun harshly, but the Colt didn't so much as twitch. The demon chuckled knowingly.

"Well, this is fun," he rumbled. He sauntered to the window, not even looking at us as he spoke. "I could've killed you a hundred times today, but this...this is worth the wait."

Dean grit his teeth, pushing against the force keeping him still. His head lifted up an inch. The weight of the demon's power was crushing my limbs. Pain radiated all over my body. Fighting against it felt like shoving against a brick wall.

The demon turned away from the window to look at Dean. "Your dad--he's in here with me, trapped inside his own meat suit. He says 'hi', by the way. He's gonna tear you apart. He's gonna taste the iron in your blood."

Dean's voice escaped in a furious whisper, "Let him go, or I swear to God--"

"What?" the demon asked. "What are you and God gonna do? You see, as far as I'm concerned, this is justice." He approached Dean calmly, leaning in close to his face. "You know that little exorcism of yours? That was my daughter."

Dean narrowed his eyes. "Who, Meg?"

"The one in the alley?" the demon continued. His voice dropped even lower. "That was my boy. You understand?"

"You've got to be kidding me," Dean said, exasperated.

"What?" the demon snapped. "You're the only one that can have a family? You destroyed my children. How would you feel if I killed your family?" Dean couldn't move anymore, but his eyes sought out first Sam over the demon's shoulder, then me a few feet away from him. The demon gasped scornfully. "Oh, that's right. I forgot. I did."

I jerked away from the wall, anger rising like lava inside of me. My mother's dead blue eyes stared back at me everytime I blinked. I grappled with my sense of reality, refusing to let myself sink under the dark water. I couldn't afford to lose my grip now. Definitely not now.
