Chapter Seven: Provisional License

I woke up to the sound of knocking, at first it was light tapping, but as 5 more minutes passed they started banging on my door, or at least one person did.

"Get up, Midget!" Bakugou kept pounding on the door. I huffed out frustratedly and opened the door, glaring at him while he leaned his arm on the doorframe, towering over me. Such a good display of his bicep though, but that's not the point.

"Stop calling me midget, hedgehog."

"Don't call me hedgehog. Todoroki has been knocking at your door for 5 solid minutes."

"It's 5 in the morning, what do you want?" I whisper-shouted. He was silent for a moment before replying.

"First off, normally most people would be awake by then, second, Mr. Aizawa said we'd be headed to our provisional license at 6:30, and third, can you wear something less revealing? Every guy is gawking at you and it's disgusting," he scoffed. I looked down at myself, forgetting that I was wearing a spaghetti crop top and butt shorts.

I then looked around to see that almost every guy saw me as well. Mineta was basically stripping me with his eyes, though I wouldn't doubt he would actually do it if I spend another minute like this. Midoriya had a towel over his shoulder, but he covered his face and ran straight for the bathroom, apologizing for staring. Todoroki kept walking but the tinge of pink on his cheeks were still evident. The last other person there was Kaminari who pointed finger guns at me before winking.

I immediately closed the door, almost accidentally slamming it on Bakugou's hand. Realizing that the girls made most of my tops revealing, I decided to leave it be and just changed into leggings. At least my butt doesn't hang around for everyone to see. After that I had breakfast before heading to the shower.

"Bakugou, Todoroki, Toga, Utsushimi, and Yoarashi, you five will be given a different exam from the rest of the group," the person in charge announces. I gave the others a confused look.

"Bakugou couldn't handle the rescue part properly," Todoroki explains.

"Half-half and Baldie here decided to pick a fight in the middle of the exam," he retorts as he glared at Todoroki.

"I'm Camie Utsushimi, I wasn't even conscious while the exam was going on," she explains. I realized that she was my sister's victim. Should I apologize? I don't think anyone from outside the class and faculty know about me yet, though my last name is a dead give-away.

"I'm not Baldie! I'm Inasa Yoarashi!" he shouts enthusiastically as he aggressively shakes my hand.

"I'm Hakira Toga, I-" I paused, thinking of an excuse. "I enrolled late because of family issues." At least half of what I said was true. The two cluelessly smiled at me when the person in charge explained again.

"Kids?! Slobber and all that?!" Bakugou says outraged, meanwhile, I feel like my eyes were sparkling from excitement. I like taking care of kids, though I don't have much experience, I've bumped into a couple of lost kids and brought them back to their parents.

We watched the gate open as a group of kids entered, not in a line like I assumed, but running and messing up the place immediately. We all approached a group individually. Bakugou failed immediately as kids were either too scared of him or were pissing him off easily, so I watched him walk away. I smiled and bent over a little to say hi to the kids, only for them to give me a dirty look and pull my hair.

"Aren't you supposed to be second-years? You look like you're still in middle school," the kid snickers before running off to his friends. I suddenly hear a boom of laughter from behind me.

"The kid thought you're a middle-schooler," Bakugou teased. "I told you, you're a midget." I flicked his forehead before regrouping with the others.

"Stop being egocentric, you couldn't deal with kids either," I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up before I blow you away," he glares at me. I decided to ignore him and face everyone else, thinking of a way to get the kids on our side.

I kissed the card before raising it in the air with pride. I turned and peeked at the other two's cards, or tried to cause Bakugou pushed my head away before I could even see.

"Can't you two smile? I mean Todoroki looks good regardless but Bakugou, you're terrifying in that picture," I laughed, nudging them both as I recovered from getting pushed away. Todoroki gave me a small smile but Bakugou sneered at me instead.

"You'll start joining class on Monday, Midget."

"So? Excited to have me as your classmate already?"

"Shut up, I'll make sure they put you in front," he gave me an evil grin. How he'll manage to do that? Probably threaten Iida, but knowing the representative, he'll stick to being righteous.

"No, you shut up. I know you're not actually that mean, what are you putting a front up for?" I stopped walking, making him turn to me, speechless.

"Why do you care? It's not like I have to be extremely friendly to be the number one hero," he practically shouts.

"You could at least show some decency instead of being ridiculously villainous, it's why the others thought they could kidnap you in the first place," I stopped myself after I realized what I said, getting a little out of hand. Just because he called me a midget? Todoroki watched from behind as Bakugou slowly approached me with clenched fists. I looked him in the eyes and wasn't about to back down but the look on his face brought out fear from inside me that I'd forgotten long ago. It reminded me of the first time I saw my sister lust for blood and when Shigaraki almost wilted my arms away in anger.

I stutter out an apology, looking away. I thought he was going to say something back but he started walking away. Todoroki jogs over to me, snapping me out of my trance as we walk back to school. Somehow, his silence is scarier than if he shouted at me. Maybe it was best if I didn't come here in the first place.

Hai hai, sorry for the late update, I also changed the age target for this book and made it mature-rated cause of my future plans--sorta' but I should say that I'll be ending this book soon, though maybe it'll be open-ended for those who want a second book.
