When I wake up the next morning, well, past noon is more like it, I have a throbbing headache and can barley open my eyes. I've slept with my make-up on, so they are probably swollen.
I try to sit up, but are too dizzy to manage to stay sitting up.
I put my hands over my eyes and wallow in my self induced hangover misery.
"Good morning," I hear Lucius say.
I uncover my sight and look at him.
He's already dressed and he's carrying a tray. Looks like he's made me something to eat or drink.
He sits down beside me.
"How are you feeling?" he asks and smiles.
"Like a wreck," I say and try to smile.
"I probably should have stopped you from having that last drink," Lucius says.
"Maybe," I say and look at the glass standing on the tray.
"What is that?" I ask.
"My secret remedy for a hangover," Lucius smirks.
"Looks disgusting," I say and wrinkle my nose.
"Yes, and it tastes just as bad as it looks too," Lucius laughs. "But trust me, once you've swallowed it all down you'll feel a lot better."
He hands me the glass.
I look at it, smell it and make a face.
Lucius laughs some more.
I put the glass to my lips and start drinking the glass' content.
I feel like gagging, but manage to get it all down.
I wait a little while, and then suddenly my head stops throbbing and I don't feel like throwing up.
"Wow, that stuff worked quickly," I say and smile.
"I know," Lucius says and looks at me. "It works wonders in situations like this."

Since my head is a bit clearer and I feel more awake, I suddenly realize how I must look.
"Ughh, I must look like a total mess," I put my hand to my hair and feel a knot.
"No, not at all. Quite sexy, actually," Lucius smiles and puts his hand over mine.
"You're just saying that to be nice," I look at him.
"I'm not," he says and leans in to kiss me.
I moan and pull him down on top of me.
We start to make out, our hands all over each other.
"I have to make up for last night," I say. "I got too drunk for our little plan."
"Yes, but this is okay too," Lucius smirks.
I roll him over onto his back and sit down on top of him. Then I open your bra and expose my breasts.
Luicus puts his hands over them and I mewl lightly as he fondles them, pinching my peaked nipples.
I lean down to kiss him, trying to get his t-shirt over his head.
We're almost naked when someone rings the door.
Luicus and I stop, looking at each other.
"Go away," Lucius whispers to the unwanted guest downstairs and smiles at me. I chuckle.
The doorbell rings again.
"Damn it!" Mr. Malfoy says.
I get off him and he gets up and gets dressed.
"I'll be in the shower if you need me", I say when he turns to look at me before walking out the door.

"Narcissa?" Lucius looks at his soon to be ex-wife.
"Lucius," she says and walks right past him.
"You couldn't have called or sent a note first?" Mr. Malfoy asks.
"Why? You got company?" Narcissa scoffs.
Lucius looks up the stairs when she isn't looking.
"What are you doing here anyway?" he asks.
"I came to get some more of my stuff," she replies.
"I could have just sent it to you," Lucius says.
"I was in the neighbourhood. I stopped by the Hatches to say hello. Stella was wondering if I've heard something from Draco regarding their daughter. She's hardly ever home, just saying she's met someone," Narcissa says.
"Has Draco said anything to you?" Lucius asks.
"No, nothing actually. To you?" she asks.
"Uhmmm, no," Lucius looks down.
"Hmmm," Narcissa says while walking into the kitchen. She pours herself a cup of coffee.
"Weren't you supposed to just pick up some of your stuff?" Lucius asks.
"Oh, what's the rush? You're just wandering around in the manor all by your lonesome anyway," Narcissa says.

"Actually..." I hear Lucius starts saying before my entry into the kitchen stops him from saying anything else. Not that more words are needed.
"Oh," I say and look straight at Narcissa.
Narcissa looks at me like she wants to kill me.
My hair is wet and I'm wearing a short skirt and a tank top.
"I'm sorry," I say and turn to leave.
"What the hell is going on here?" Narcissa asks, raising her voice.
I stop, my back against them.
"We're kinda... Dating," Lucius says.
I turn around slowly to face Narcissa's rage.
"Dating? Are you insane? She's Draco's age!" Narcissa's getting mad.
"I know how old she is," Lucius says.
"Well, then you should know not to date her too then!" Narcissa is seething.
"What we do, is none of your business," Luicus starts raising his voice too.
"The hell it is! I don't want no ex-husband of mine walking around dating some young floozy," Narcissa spits out.
"Floozy?" I ask.
"Yes," Narcissa says.
"Don't you dare call her that," Lucius says angrily.
"Well, she is," Narcissa crosses her arms.
"I'm not the one who fell out of love with him. I might be a floozy, but you're an idiot!" I say and walk out of the room.

"Speaking of ex-husband, I got some papers I really want you to sign. I just want you to get the hell out of my life," Lucius says and starts walking towards his office.
"Your life is a fucking joke!" Narcissa shouts. "I'll be glad to be out of it!"
"Good, then my new life is no concern of yours," Lucius says.

I sit on top of the stairs listening to some more shouting before Narcissa comes storming out of the office, leaving through the front door, slamming it hard behind her.
Lucius steps out of his office some minutes later.
He stops at the bottom of the stairs, looking at me. He starts walking up towards me, and sits down beside me when he's reached my step.
"I'm so sorry for just barging in like that. I was hungry, breakfast was the only thing on my mind. It didn't occur to me that whoever came here would be in the kitchen," I say.
"It's okay. She was bound to find out sooner or later. And I'm glad she did actually, it got her to sign the divorce papers sooner than I ever thought she would," Lucius smiles.
"She called me a floozy," I say.
"And you called her an idiot," Lucius laughs.
"I did, didn't I?" I say and laugh too. "Well, I think it's better to be a floozy than an idiot."
"I agree," Lucius smirks. "Though you're neither."
He places a wet string of stray hair behind my ear, running his fingertips slowly alongside my jawline. He's looking at me with a soft smile on his lips, and with even softer eyes.

Last night's thoughts are on his mind, but he knows it's not the right time to voice those three little words.

"Let's go and make you some breakfast," he says instead.
