Once you exited the elevator, you were presented with what was supposed to be the courtroom.

"Alrighty! Let's not waste any time, go to the designated seat with your name on it!" Monokuma announced.

You looked around each seat, a name engraved into the wood on each podium. Your name was engraved between Nagito's and Mikan's. You stood where your name was and looked forwards. In front of you was Chiaki. On the right of Chiaki, was a picture of Byakuya.

"Why is there a photo of Byakuya?" You asked Monokuma.

"Well, we wouldn't want to leave him out just because he's dead!" He replied.

He began to explain the rules for the class trial, and then clarified that the killer was one of us.

A deadly riddle, a deadly defense, a deadly faith...

A deadly...Class Trial!

"Anyway... How about we discuss the most interesting fact first?" Nagito suggested.

"Eh? What do you mean, most interesting fact?" Teruteru asked.

"The location of the body... It's strange that we found it under that table." He replied.

"Let's begin with that." Chiaki said.

"How did Togami-kun's body end up under that table?" Nagito asked.

"It was the table set deepest inside the hall and he was under it." Gundham pointed out.

"Maybe after the culprit killed Togami, they moved it there?" Kazuichi suggested.

"Don't you think it's odd to suggest that the body was moved?" Hajime asked.

"Eh?"

"Um, I want you to try and remember the state of things under the table when we found the body. There was a large amount of blood there, but no blood trails that would suggest the body had been moved." Nagito said.

"So that means the culprit didn't move it." You replied.

"So you're an idiot as well as unattractive and bland! Is there any reason for you to go on living?" Hiyoko sneered.

"I'm the type of guy who thrives on praise!" Kazuichi shouted back.

"Well, why was the body under the table then?" Ibuki asked.

"It was probably because he was killed there." Hajime replied.

"Togami crawled under the table for some reason, and that's where the culprit got to him. And that's the reason his body was left there. It makes sense, doesn't it?" Nagito reasoned.

"That does make sense, but what was Togami doing hiding under a table in the first place?" Nekomaru asked.

"Hmmm.. Maybe he panicked when the lights went out, and went under the table to hide?" Teruteru suggested.

"The reason must be connected to Togami's actions during the party." Nagito stated.

"It must have something to do with the knife that we found under the table. Togami probably noticed that there was a knife hidden there. So he crawled under the table on purpose, in order to retrieve it. There was a set of night-vision goggles under the table. If Togami used them, he would be able to see during the blackout." Hajime said.

"THAT REASONING IS FLAWED!" Mahiru countered.

You stayed quiet and watched the scene unfold.

"No, that's clearly wrong, isn't it?! It's obviously just the opposite! Obviously the murderer used the goggles!" She continued.
