Juniper's P.O.V:

The window was rolled down, allowing the warm, humid air of New Orleans seeping into the car speeding down the Causeway Bridge. Looking at the vast body of water beneath, I wondered how cold the waters of Lake Pontchartrain really were. "I know I said you looked good earlier but I gotta say June, you'd look even better if you were wearing my sweatshirt." Aristos chuckled while I looked at him in utter confusion. "Take a look at Scott's insta from 2 months ago shawty."

"Actually Aristos, I don't think I follow you or Scott on insta, shoot me your names." The blush crept its way to my cheeks, embarrassed the boys had let me stay at theirs yet I hadn't even bothered to even follow them or anything on their socials. Aristos just chuckled, his eyes never leaving the road, "mine is suicideleopard & Scott's is yungxrist." I typed in Aristos' name first, deciding I wanted to have a gander at what he posts. "There's nothing here?" Confused, I looked at Aristos while he just laughed. "Yeah I tend to post things then just delete or archive them all." "Ahhh I see I see." I clicked the follow button, then proceeded to type in Scott's username.

Upon looking at Scott's post I noticed one in particular.

"Do you get what I'm trynna say?" Looking at the smug look on Aristo's face, back down to the post. I'm wearing Scott's sweatshirt.. great I thought to myself. "Sorry, I just grabbed it because I didn't wanna keep you waiting." My cheeks bloomed crimson as Aristos chuckled, "Nah shawty its okay don't worry 'bout it, just thought you look much much better in my clothes." He winked as I just giggled, returning to my daydream like state. Before I did that though, I decided to take a quick pic on my phone of the long highway in front of us, making sure to get Aristos' hands on the steering wheel. "Look at our lil' photographer back in action! You know once Scott n' I go back on tour, we would love to have you come with us as our photographer. Eric had showed us your work & instantly we knew you'd be perfect."

I looked at Aristos' hopeful face, in complete disbelief they wanted me to go on tour with them. "I mean... what has Scott said about this?" "He's all aboard for the idea. You'd be working alongside Max, I don't know if you've met him already but don't worry, he's a hella chill guy." I knew of Max because he was one of Eric & Kevin's bestfriends, but I had never met him before. "If I'm being honest, I would love to. I need to get more work in & to travel America would be amazing to get shots of the cities & towns as well as you guys preforming!" Aristos just laughed to himself, earning yet another confused look from me. "Shawty, it's not just America we'll be travelling, it's a European tour also." At this point my jaw had crushed through the floor. "You mean we'll be travelling throughout all of Europe too? So like Russia, Italy, France, Germany?" "The whole shabang baby." I was in complete shock, "It's been my dream to travel Europe oh my god I don't know what to say... thank you Ari." "No need for thanks shawty, you got talent with that camera & we wanna see if you can work that talent on us."

We had reached the end of the highway by now, Lewisburg coming into view. "So, wanna wait for the rest of the guys to get here to get food oooor-" I cut him off, "not a chance I am starving! Let's go get food first." Aristos chuckled, but agreed with me. We pulled up to a small diner that was still serving breakfast foods at this time. We pulled up into the car park in front of the building, the diner was cute & seemed very old fashioned, the inside looking very vintage. As we sat down, an old lady had made her way over, who I'm assuming was the waitress. "Aww well aren't you two quite the attractive pair. So what can I get for you & your girlfriend honey?" My cheeks had quickly gained a rose tint to them at the fact she called me Aristos' girlfriend. "Thank you! She's quite the sigh for sore eyes. Can I get a stack of pancakes with bacon please?" I had never seen Aristos more polite. "And for you sugar?" "Can I just get the same please?" She nodded taking down our orders & with that, she left. "How come you didn't correct her & tell her we're not dating?" I smiled as I laughed while questioning Aristos, "Well for starters, it's nice to have a pretty thing such as yourself shawty being mistaken to be my girlfriend & secondly, it's fun seeing you get flustered." He winked as I just scoffed, rolling my eyes but still baring a grin.

"Oh shit I still gotta call Eric." I pulled my phone out from my bag & dialled his number. "Hey June, what's up? Haven't heard much from you in a few days, you holdin' up alright?" I loved how Eric was like an older brother to me, he always looked out for me. "Hey Eric, I'm doin' good don't worry! Just enjoying my time & getting to know the boys is all." I smiled as I fixed the back of my beanie.

Aristos' P.O.V:

I've said it before but I'll say it again. Juniper's smile knew exactly how to make my insides melt. I poured out the coffee as I watched her lips move as she spoke on the phone, but everything that was coming from her mouth was muffled. I felt like a love sick puppy every time I was with her. My daydream was cut short though as June waved her hand in front of my face. "Welcome back to earth space boy," she giggled as she placed her phone back in her pocket, "so the guys are down to meet us at the mall, they're just grabbing breakfast now. Told ya it was a good idea to get breakfast first." I laughed as I nodded my head.

"Here ya go, two stacks of pancakes with a side of bacon & eggs. Enjoy!" We thanked the waitress as we began to eat. "So June, you never told me why you moved to London?" Placing her knife & fork down, she cleared her throat. "It's nothing too interesting really, I grew up here in New Orleans but I had decided to get a change of scenery. I never really had a good relationship with my parents after my grandparents died, so since I was 14 I worked my ass off everyday after school to earn & save up money so I could get far away. Luckily, when I was 19, I had saved up to get as far away to London. That's where I met Eric, I had just moved over & it was my 3rd month. I always listened to his music so I decided to go to one of his concerts. I actually had a mental argument with myself of whether I should bring my camera with me. Safe to say I'm glad I did. I grabbed some shots, he saw them on my insta & Twitter. The rest is history!" I remained silent, absorbing everything Juniper had told me. Taking a sip from my cup of coffee I spoke up.

"Hmmm, an independent girl who knows what she wants. I like that." She laughed as she rolled her eyes, "I just knew I needed to get far away from my parents & New Orleans." I nodded, "I know how you feel, but no matter how far I travel away I always long to come back to the 7th Ward. It's home to Scott & I." "Thats one of the reasons I came back, I was starting to get home sick. Have to say, drivin' over Lake Pontchartrain made me feel so nostalgic. I remember as a teen my only friend & I would just drive down to the Causeway Bridge & once we would reach the middle it was so empty out with no other cars in sight, we would spark the fattest blunt & listen to the water below. It was nice." Listening to June talk reminds me of how Scott & I used to be as teens, we never had many friends so we always stuck to eachother. "Myself & Scott used to do the same, a lot of our earlier shit for the videos we would drive down the Causeway Bridge & just record. Whoever was driving by must have though we were crazy but look at us now." We both laughed, clinking our cups off coffee together in cheers to the success we all made for ourselves.

I watched Juniper devour the last bite of her pancakes as she slumped back in her seat. "I. Am. Stuffed.. BUT that's no guarantee I won't be hungry later." I laughed in response as I took out my wallet. She started to do the same but I quickly shut her down, "Nuh uh shawty, you ain't paying for any of this, I got it it's only $10." She gave me a look which wrote "I'm not impressed" all over her face. "Aristos, what happened to 'I like an independent woman'? I'm paying for my own food I got this." She smiled & I just laughed back, "Whatever you say shawty." As we reached the counter, I was first to pay. "Thank you for the food, it was perfect. I'd like to pay for the both of us." I smiled as I handed the waitress the $10 with a $5 tip. "Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed." I smiled back in response to the cashier as I turned around to face June. "Don't bother June, already got it covered." She scoffed as she smiled, giving me a light lunch on the shoulder. "You're a prick, but thank you."

And with that, we made our way back to the car, the clock in the diner reading 12:30pm
