"Calum - RECEIVED 7:32 AM - i have it! one last song!" I woke up to this text the next day.

"Me - SENT 8:17 AM - What are you talking about?"

"Calum - RECEIVED 8:19 AM - are you dressed?"

"Me - SENT 8:21 AM - No??"

"Calum RECEIVED 8:23 AM - well get dressed! i'm coming over."

This was a shock. I had no idea how fast he'd be over here, so I quickly took a shirt off of my floor and pulled it over my head. I decided my sweatpants were good enough for this little meet up.

I rubbed my eyes with balled up fists and brough myself to stand up. I wasn't feeling my "morning person" attitude today after yesterday's events, so I decided to make myself a pot of coffee.

My feet were heavy on the floor, and all I wanted to do was go back to sleep - but I stuck it through for Calum.

Ten minutes later, his signature knock was at the door. Before I could walk over and get it, he swung the door open himself.

"Victoria!" He called. "This is the last one, I swear!" He called as I mixed the cream into my coffee. "Last what?" I slowly made my way over to him.

"The last song," he sat on my couch and whipped out his phone.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I took a sip of my coffee and set it on the end table next to my couch.

"The last song I have that reminds me of you," he replied. I didn't ask why it had to be the last.

"Well, play it." I sat down next to him.

A woman's voice rang out. It sounded soft at first, but then her voice became beautiful and strong.

"It reminds me of you, but, um, also of myself too." He said.

"I sang a hymn to bring me peace

And then it came, a melody

It felt so sweet it, it felt so strong

it made me feel, like i belong."

I listened intently, this song intrigued me.

"And all the sadness inside me

melted away like I was free."

He looked at me and smiled, I couldn't help but return the gesture.

"I found what I've been looking for in myself.

Found a life worth living for someone else.

Never thought that I could be

I could be

Happy, happy."

I felt my stomach flip, but in the best way possible. "I love you," I said, sinking into him, my tiredness taking over.

"I love you, too." He whispered almost inaudibly.

My eyes shut, and I was gone.
