Acacia's POV:
When I finally was done getting dressed and doing my makeup, the clock was already 6.50 pm.I got a text from Jack, telling me he was outside. I walked downstairs. "I'm going out with Jack!" I yelled, for everyone in the house to hear, and then I walked outside.
Jack got out and opened the door for me, I pecked his lips and got in to the car. "What a gentleman." I joked which made him laugh.
When we were five minutes away, Jack told me to put on a blindfold. I put on a red bandana that was lying in the seat. Jack stopped the car and I could hear him walk out, then my door opened and Jack helped me out carefully. I could suddenly feel myself get lifted up from the ground and into two strong, muscular arms. It made me feel safe. I put my arms around his neck and hugged him, while playing a little with his hair.
Some minutes later Jack stopped. "We're here." He told me. He put me down carefully and grappled my hand. We started walking and I could feel the surface get softer. I still couldn't figure out where we were.
Jack stopped again. "Okay, I'm gonna take off your blindfold now." He said as I could feel the blindfold get loosened up.
I was in shock, it was so beautiful! "Jack-?" I said, totally out of words. "Do you like it?" He asked me. I turned around to face him, "No, I love it." I said, it actually felt like I was gonna cry. Jack smiled and kissed me on my cheek.
When I turned back around, I could see Shawn and Hayes stand by the table in the sand. They were both formally dressed, and I couldn't help it but smile and give them both a hug. They looked so cute.
Jack and I sat down by the table and talked and laughed until Shawn and Hayes came out with food. Sushi. I loved sushi, I can't believe Jack remembered.
"You remembered?" I asked surprised. "Of course." He simply answered and smiled. When we had eaten up, Jack stood up. Unsure for what he was doing, I did the same. We stood in the middle of all the torches when Jack grabbed my hands. His face was only a couple inches away from mine. He finally spoke up.
"Acacia, I have something for you." He said, he took something out of his back pocket, it was a tiny black box. He opened it, showing a beautiful bow necklace and a pretty infinity ring. I gasped "Jack??" "Don't say anything, just please see what's under it." He said, I could tell he was nervous. I lifted up the necklace and the ring carefully, under it, it was a note. I opened it and saw something written in big, black letters; ♥︎PROM?♥︎
I looked up at Jack and smiled. "Yes Jack, I really want to go to prom with you." He finally calmed down and smiled and kissed me. We stood like that for a minute, until we were both out of breath. "Uhm, I don't know if you understood it, but I want you to use the necklace and the ring at the prom." Jack said and smiled. "Yeah, I figured." I told him and laughed.
I sat down on a blanket in the sand, but Jack didn't, instead he picked me up and ran towards the water. "No! Jack stop!" I screamed, but he didn't stop, he threw me in the water. "You're dead to me Gilinsky!" I yelled after him as he ran the opposite way of the water, laughing. So I decided to prank him. I started to run and yell at him, to get him to look at me. He finally turned around, so I could finally start my plan. I started screaming. "Ow, omg Jack help, I stepped on something sharp!" I lied. He came rushing towards me, he had a concerned look on his face. "Don't worry, show me your foot." But I didn't show him my foot, instead I grabbed his shoulders and pushed him under water. He came up straight away. He looked confused, but when he saw my laughing expresssion, he smiled. "Gotcha." I said and blunked to him.
I tried swimming away from him, but he catched up with me in seconds, he grabbed me by my waist and dragged me towards himself. I squealed, but turned around to see his face. We stood there for a couple minutes, just staring at eachother. He was beautiful as always, but it was just something about how the light from the moon and the torches hit his face, how they made shadows under his cheekbones and made his eyes really dark.
We were now sitting on the blanket in the sand, just looking out over the water. Jack had brung a sweater for me to borrow, it was a little bit big, but it kept me warm. He had his arms protective around me. It felt nice just sitting there, with him, it was silent, but it wasn't an awkward silence.
After a couple more hours we jumped in to the car and drove home. He dropped me off right outside my house and followed me up to the door. "I had really fun tonight Jack, thank you." I said and held my arms around his neck. "Me too." He said and smiled. "See you tomorrow." I said and walked inside.
