When we arrived at my house, there was another car parked outside. We walked inside and got greeted by my oldest brother Brad. "Hi Brad, uhm this is Jack Gilinsky. Jack, this is my oldest brother Brad." I said awkwardly. They shook hands. "So this is the famous Gilinsky my little sister has been talking about for a year now." Brad said, Jack laughed and I covered my now bright red face.

After the awkward little moment, I walked upstairs to my room to change. Jack stayed downstairs with Brad.

Jack POV.

Acacia walked upstairs to change clothes. In the meanwhile, I decided to use that time to get a little bit better known with her brother. "So, Jack what do you like to do in your free time?" Brad asked me. "Well I'm the captain of the schools basketball team and the lacrosse team, and I also like to sing." I was really nervous, because I really wanted her family to like me. "And how old are you?" "I just turned 18 in September." I told him. He nodded. "What's going on between you two?" It was really hard for me to answer this, because to be completely honest, I have no clue. I mean, I really like her, but there might be a chance she don't like me like that. "I don't know, I mean, I really like her, but you know, we just met like a month ago."

I heard a small cough and I turned around. Acacia was standing in the stairs. She looked so beautiful, like she always does. She wore a grey crop top, with dark jeans, black sandals and her hair in a messy bun. Instead of a backpack she used a black purse.

I just smiled, on the inside I was praying that she hadn't heard what I just said. "You ready to go?" Acacia asks me and smiles. "Yeah, let's go." I answered and we walked out to my car. I opened the door for her, before I got into the car as well.

"You know, there's still almost an hour till school starts, do you want to buy some breakfast?" I smiled and looked at her hopefully, I was really hungry, since instead of eating we had to get to the hospital. "Course." She replied and I drove to the closest McDonalds.

*after eating*

"Ten minutes until school starts, I think we should get going." I said as I looked at the clock on my phone.

"There's no way we're gonna make it in time, the school is thirty minutes away from here." I told her. Acacia let out a loud sigh. "Well, then let's just skip school today." She said and stood up from her seat. Then she immediately walked out the doors and towards my car. I smiled at how careless she could be. I followed her to my car and we jumped in.

Acacia's POV

We decided to not go to school today, so instead we bought stuff for our lazy day. We went to a lot of places like Dunkin' Donuts, Old Market Candy Shop, and of course starbucks.

After we had got everything we needed for our lazy day, we went back to my place so I could change into something more comfy, a batman crop top, a jean shorts and some yellow short converse. I love batman, he's actually my favourite super hero.

I walked outside to Jack's car again. "Aren't your parents gonna get mad if they see us?" I asked. "Nah, they're not gonna be home in a couple hours, and besides, they don't care what I do." I didn't know what to answer exept 'oh'. After that it was an awkward silence.

"So, shall we get started." I say, trying to change subject, and get an end to the awkward silence. "Oh, yeah, let's go downstairs to my room." Jack said, I followed him downstairs. His room was big, with dark blue walls. We sat down in his big bed. His laptop was already lying in the bed, so I decided to just turn it on.

Jack logged onto his netflix. But we couldn't decide what to watch. After a little while of thinking, we decided to watch Adventure Time because why not. We litterally watched all the episodes while we ate donuts and stuff, snuggled in to eachother. I wish this moment would last forever.

As we were done watching all episodes on Adventure Time, the clock was already five. His parents was still not home, so we decided to go out and eat. Of course Pizza.

Jack drove us to this really nice pizza place. We ordered a large 'california' pizza to share.

"So, what do you want to do now?" Jack asks as we finish our delicious pizza. "I really want to go to the beach." I answered and smiled.

"Sure, let's go!" He said.

It wasn't as warm outside now as it was when we left, but I didn't want Jack to know that I was cold. "You look cold, are you cold?" Jack asked, I was just thankful that he noticed. "A little bit, but I should get home soon anyways." I explained. I could've sweared that his face changed into a disappointed frown, but it was gone as fast as it came. It turned into a smile.

We walked back to Jacks car and drove back to my house. "Bye Jack" I said and walked out of the car. "Yeah, bye." He answered and wanted to drive until i was inside my house.
