It was wednesday, and Today is first day of school. I was kind of nervous, but also kind of excited. I was really looking forward to meet all the guys again. (Since this is a fanfiction, I am just gonna pretend that they are all the same age, exept Hayes who is still 14.)
After an hour in bed I finally managed to get out. I got dressed, packed my backpack and walked downstairs to get some breakfast. The clock was only six so I had half an hour before Jack picked me up. I still didn't know my class schedule yet, but I just hoped I had my classes with Michelle, or at least one of the guys or Mahogany.
I wasn't really hungry, so I just ate a banana. When I had eaten it up I still had 25 minutes, so I grabbed my phone and went outside.
It was hot even though it was early. I plugged my phone to a tiny speaker I just had in my backpack and put on some music. I stood with my back turned to the road while I practiced on a dance choreography. In the middle of the dance I heard clapping coming from behind me. I turned around to see Sammy. I screamed and ran towards him. "Sammyyyy!" I screamed and hugged him. "Acaciaaaaa!" Sam joked and hugged me back. "How have you been?" I asked him. I couldn't stop smiling. "Good, I've missed you though." He said. "How've you been?" "Good actually." I answered. "You're going to school right?" He asked. "Uhm yeah, Jack's picking me up soon." I said, and just as I said that Jack's car pulled up to my house. "There he is." "You can sit on if you want to." I offered, but he just said that he was going to get a ride with Matt.
When Sam had left, I sent a message to Michelle to tell her to come outside. She got outside and got in to the car as well. "Hey Michelle, how have you been?" Jack asked her. "I've been good, how 'bout you?" She asked him back. He answered good too and after that it went silent. So to not make it that awkward I put on music on my phone again. The music blasted through the speakers, and I sang with.
Some minutes later we arrived at the school, I grabbed my backpack and walked out of the car. Michelle and Jack did the same. We were walking towards the front door to our school. People were looking at us while we passed them.
"Ok so we need to get our schedules before school starts." Michelle said and looked over to Jack, waiting for an answer. "Yeah I'll follow you." He said and grabbed my arm and dragged me with him, I grabbed Michelle's and she followed. Finally we stopped in front of a table where a middle-aged woman were sitting. She had really short blonde hair, and too much makeup on. I smiled politely. "Name?" She asked. "Acacia Brinley Clark." I said. She handed me a paper. "NEXT!" She said loud which caused her voice to get raspy. Michelle said her name and got her schedule as well.
"Okay we have history, music and arts together." Jack said and smiled. I smiled back, hopefully I had some classes with Michelle as well. "We have gym and math together." Michelle exclaimed happy and hugged me. "That's good, but that means that I will have some classes where I don't know anyone." I sighed. "Maybe not, maybe some of the other guys has the same as you." Jack said and smiled at me.
The bell rang, and we walked to our classes. Jack and I walked together because his class were close to mine. "Okay, well I'll see you later." I said, hugged him and walked to my class.
I sat down in an empty seat. I expected the seat beside me to stay empty as well, but a girl sat down in it. "Hi! I'm Jesy." She said, she had a really fake smile plastered on her face, but I'm not one of those people who judge people by looks, so I decided to be nice. "Hi, I'm Acacia, I'm new here." I said. 'I'm so stupid, of course she already knows that!' I thought. "Nice to meet you Acacia." She smiled again, but this time it wasn't fake, she's actually really pretty, and down on earth. I smiled back and we turned our attention towards the teacher.
I had next class with Jack, it was history. I hate history, I mean, I'm not bad, it's more that it's so easy that it gets boring. I've always been kind of a geek, Michelle says she think it's cute, but it just really annoys me.
I walked out of the classroom while talking and laughing with Jesy, Jack was already standing outside my classroom waiting for me. "I'll see you later, bye" I said to Jesy and gave her a little hug, I know I hadn't known her for a very long time, but it was just really easy to be myself around her.
"What the hell are you doing talking to her?" Jack said, he looked concerned. "Why? She's nice." I said and gave him a confused look. "Jesy Stanford is not 'nice'!" He said. "And why is that?" i asked, I got kind of annoyed over how he acted right now. "Okay, I haven't really talked to her, but she HAS done a lot of stupid things, and I just don't want you to do the same." I stopped walking and looked at him, he's just so cute. I hugged him. "I promise you I won't" I assured him and started walking again.
We sat together in history. We were talking during the whole time and I didn't catch a single thing my teacher said. I mean, it's history, why learn something that has already happened right?
the rest of the day was pretty boring actually. But before we went home, I wanted to sign up for the cheerleading club. I told Jack and Michelle to meet me outside the school when I was done. I walked over to the grass field where some girls in black and golden uniforms were sitting and stretching. Luckily Jesy was one of them, the uniform looked really good on her. She had put her long, blonde hair up in a pony tail, and secured it with a bow that matched the uniform.
"Hi girls, I'm here to sign up for the cheerleading." I said, I smiled nervous and made an awkward wave towards them. "Omg! Acacia! Yeah, you totally need to try out for a spot, but I need to tell you, the other girls are really awesome." She said. "Oh, I'm not worried." I said and smiled. She laughed and slung her arm around my shoulders as we walked towards the other group of girls.
"Okay girls! Listen, so we don't have much time, so show us what you've got!" Jesy yelled. We all started cheering and clapping.
I texted Jack and Michelle and told them that I would be late. It was finally my turn, I put on my own music that I already had a choreography to and I started dancing.
I danced the best I could until the music stopped. The music faded away and everyone started clapping. I smiled, "Okay, so you sure as hell can dance, but we still need to know if you can cheer, do you know how to do a backflip?" Another girl said, I did one to show her.
We were now waiting for anwers. The team captains had been talking for five minutes now. Jesy came walking towards the group of waiting people. "Ok listen! I'm going to read all the people who got in on the team. You will receive your uniforms afterwards." She said. She held up a list and started reading the names. I was standing in complete shock when she yelled my name. I heard some girls cheering for me, so I smiled and walked over to the other captains. After some minutes, we were done. The team now consisted of 20 people, 16 girls and 4 boys.
We finally got our uniforms, and may I say, they were ADORABLE! We also got a pair of infinite shoes and a golden bow for our hair. I was so happy now.
We did a little finish chant, and then we got to leave. Since I didn't have a ride, I decided to call Jack.
He picked up after two rings,
J: hello?
A: hey, Jack, I'm at the school, can you come pick me up?"
J: yeah sure, I'll be there in a couple minutes
A: thanks, bye
J: bye
I hung up. While I waited I plugged my earplugs to my phone and listened to music. 'You're beautiful' by James Blunt were playing through my ears. (Okay, that sounds SO weird?)
I saw Jack's car stop in front of me, and I got in. "Him thank you for doing this." I told him. "Sure, no problem, can I ask what you were doing?" He asked me and smiled his perfect smile. "I, am, officially a cheerleader!" I said and smiled really big. "Oh wow, congratulations!" He said and hugged me, then he started the car and started driving home. Besides the home thing, I had no idea where he was taking me. "Jack, where are we going?" I asked curious. "Uhm, we're going to the woods where I'm going to rape you and kill you." Jack said stone serious, but he then started laughing. I smiled. "Haha, very funny." I said and laughed along with him.
A/N: okay so this was a little bit longer chapter, but I still don't know if it's long enough.
