"you're diagnosed with heart arrhythmia."

renjun's heart fell, biting his lip as he tried to sink in the words that came out of the doctor's mouth. he clutched the hospital's bed sheet, trying not to cry at the thought of him dying.

"we don't know how we did it, but you only have seven days left."

seven days. seven days until he passes. seven more days as he cherish memories with his friends. seven more days as he tells jisung what he feels.

renjun's mother looked at her son, in state of shock. she thought he was healthy and strong, not until the time where she caught him having a hard time breathing.

his mother went closer to him, pulling him in a warm embrace in attempt to soothe him down, but only got cries in return.

"i-i don't want to d-die, mom.." renjun blurts out, tears falling down nonstop.

"no one does, injunnie." his mom replied, biting her lip at the thought of his son passing first before she does.

on the other hand, there was a lot of teasing going on. jisung tried to hide the faint blush on his face but his friends kept teasing him about it.

"finally making a move, huh?" jaemin giggled at the grade ten student.

chenle frowns, "wait.. i thought renjun ge tops?"

"why did you think of that?" jeno laughs at the chinese male.

"because he's older?" chenle says, unsure of his words.

jaemin adds, "but jisung's taller"

"what are you guys laughing about?"

hearing the familiar voice made their laughter died down at looked at jisung with smirk in their faces. jisung cleared his throat before fixing his blazer, "nothing, hyung."

renjun smiles softly and thought "i'm gonna miss him so bad." "hyuck? can i talk to you for a moment?"

jisung's heart dropped, does he like donghyuck? but donghyuck already has mark. hyuck tensed up and look at jisung's direction, seeing jisung's infamous expressionless face. hyuck sighs before nodding at renjun's words and the two walked away.

jaemin pats jisung's back, "don't lose hope, jisung-ah."

"what is it, injun?" hyuck says, confused at renjun's ambiance. he's usually loud and extroverted, but why is he quiet right now?

"i-i.." renjun heaves a deep sigh. "i only have seven days left."
