the two laughed as they stroll around the park while eating hot spicy rice cakes. they shared stories and just talked about life.

jisung was quite happy he got to spend the day with renjun and renjun only. no other friends, just renjun. although knowing what will happen tomorrow, he still removed that thoughts of his and just sticked to what is happening right now.

yesterday was emotional, although earning whines and cries from jeno, jaemin and chenle because they were left alone at the beach house and also late in finding out about renjun's health.

seeing renjun smile is enough to make jisung's day. "hey, renjun hyung?"

the chinese hummed in response, still eating his spicy rice cakes while looking at the fountain in front of where they are currently sitting.

"what do you wanna do today?" jisung continues, finally looking at the older who's now looking at the ground.

"anything is fine." renjun replies and looked at the younger who has his eyes on him. "why are you frowning?"

jisung didn't know he was holding back his tears and soon broke down when the chinese caressed his cheeks. that made renjun panick and immediately hugged the younger, patting his back in the process.

"h-hyung why.." jisung managed to say and hugged the chinese tighter, not wanting to let go.

"ji, stop crying i'm still here."

with that being said made jisung cry harder. yes he is still here today, but where is he tomorrow? jisung was late to confess to the older. that's why mark and donghyuck were telling him to tell his feelings to renjun before everything is too late.

renjun only chuckled, feeling his eyes water at the younger's actions. he, too, was scared to let go.

"h-hyung.." jisung muttered once he calmed down, still not breaking the hug.

renjun was the first one to pull away, cupping jisung's cheeks and caressed it softly, also wiping the tears that were staining it. the chinese smiled softly, feeling his tears threatening to fall as he saw how jisung cried.

the older planted a soft kiss on jisung's lips, feeling a lot of emotions as the younger returned the action. the two soon pulled away, letting renjun breathe as their foreheads touched.

"promise me, ji." the chinese started, still staring at the younger's orbs while jisung hummed in response. "promise me you'll stay strong."

"thank you for today," renjun says upon ariving in front if his house, facing jisung and chuckled softly "we're on a date this time."

jisung laughs at the older's words and pulled him in a tight hug, not wanting another set of tears to fall off his eyes.

"please take care on your way home." the chinese says, wrapping his arms around the younger's waist and buried his head on his shoulder.

"i will." jisung replies, biting his lip. why did the day have to end so fast? "i.. i-i love you, hyung."

renjun was taken aback by that phrase but is glad he heard it before anything happens. "i love you too, jisung."

the two pulled away, just staring at each other's eyes as time passes by. and there was renjun again, cupping the younger's cheeks as he tiptoed and planted a soft kiss on his forehead.

"be safe, jisungie."
