I wake up to my Nona lightly shaking me to wake up for school.
Nona: Mari svegliate.
Mari: si Nona. I'm awake.
Nona: Buongiorno mi amore.
Mari: buongiorno Nona.
Nona: get ready for school ok? Today's the first day back after summer and you don't want to be late! She walked out of my room and walked down stairs. She always made breakfast for me no matter what. "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" she would say.
I get up out of my bed and walk to my bathroom. I take off my clothes and look at myself in the mirror. Ew. My body shape is so disgusting! Why can't my body be like Madison Beer?
Anyways .. I hop in the shower and I do my business before getting out and doing my hair and make up. I only do concealer and my eyebrows do makeup. I never really tried to do anything special. I got dressed in grey Adidas sweatpants and a north face hoodie with some white air forces. I decided to let my hair down today so I could look slightly nicer for the first day of school.
Breakfast was obviously awesome! You can't live with an Italian grandma and not have amazing food!
Mari: bye Nona I'll see you after school.
Nona: bye mi amore! Have a good day. I hugged her and kissed her cheek before walking out and getting in my car.

(School)
I got put my car and there they were 😒. Kairi and his friends.. great! I pull my hood up and walk to my locker. I grab my books and my schedule. I walk to my first class and guess who's there! Non other than Kairi and his friends. Fuck me!
Teacher: Mariana id like to see you after class please.
Mari: oh ok fuck I'm probably in trouble or some shit.

(After Class)
Class finished and everyone left apart from kairi. Weird.
Teacher: Mariana I want you to tutor Kairi please. You have the highest grades in this class and his grades are terrible. WHAT! There is no way I'll help him. He'll bully the fuck out of me until I die!
Mariana: I- um.
Teacher: so? Yes or no? If you don't then you'll have detention till the end of the school year understand?
Mariana: um. Yeh I guess I'll do it.
Teacher: great you start today after school. I walked out the class and kairi followed me. I went to my locker and put in all the books I don't need.

(After school)
I walked into the class to see Kairi already there. I sat next to him but I moved my chair so I wasn't so close.
Mariana: so- um what do you need help with?
Kairi: maths duh. That's the class we had today!?
Mariana: right yeh. I begin to help him. We don't say much to each other apart from me telling him how to do the work.

Kairi's POV:

Ugh I hate it here! She's so annoying. Thankfully she's not actually saying anything apart from the work and I'm not saying anything either.
We start to pack up the books and I look over and see marks on Mariana's arm.
Kairi: what's that?
Mariana: what's what?
Kairi: that on your arm. I say pointing to her arm. She quickly pulls down her hoodie.
Mariana: um nothing don't worry. I'm going to go now by. I'll see - um you here tomorrow. She rushed to pack up her things and she walks away. I run to follow her to her locker. As I follow her I see the boys still in school since they had soccer. We all get there and push her. I grab her arms and pin them against the lockers. I start to punch her until someone says something.
Ale: Kai. KAI STOP. I turn around in confusion.
Ale: her arm. He looks kinda upset and I don't understand why. She gets out of my grip and starts to walk away. I grab her wrist and pull her towards me. I pull up her hoodie and see.....

Fuck. She has so many cuts on her arm. There so deep and some look like they were done recently.
Kairi: who- who did that to you?
Mariana: what? Oh I- I did them to myself ....
Kairi: why?
Mariana: because of you and your friends. You hit me for nothing. I do nothing to you and you all still hit me. God I want to fucking die so much but I can't because of my Nona! I cut because they can be covered up. I never eat during school so I can starve.
Kairi:....
Mariana: you know I WISH I still lived with my mom so she could end it for me. It's not like anyone would miss me anyway. She pulled her arm away and ran away.
Mattia: we- I
Ale: she's going to kill herself because of us...
